As many of you pointed out, we're in a very good position no matter who we pick or trade for.... I think we wasted a golden opportunity to repeat as SB champs... so hopefully we go back to prominence this season.. and for seasons to come. For how much I've wanted and talked about getting Braylon, at this point, with the price Braylon wants and the amount of picks Cleveland wants, if I were Reese, I'm moving up in the first round. The Giants have an offer on the table.. this no secret. It's up to the Browns and Edwards to take it or leave it. The Giants have their Plan B in place... With the Giants luck we would trade for Edwards for some good deal like a 2nd,4th,5th and he agrees to just finish his contract but when he moves to New York he takes up carpentry and cuts off one of his hands. All hail the king. As for what I'd do if I were Reese........ I'd figure we have too many picks, we'll never sign them all. So, either I trade for Edwards, or move up and develop my own WR. If I'm going to move up, it'll cost me picks I can't afford to sign anyway, and if I trade, the 1st is at #29 anyway, so it's not really a huge loss to use that plus a third, maybe a fifth (if that gets it done over throwing in a player). Virginia Giant Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 Being it's a late pick, I would probly be okay with trading the first rounder for Edwards, but would rather deal the Shockey picks with a another middle round pick thrown in. If we can end up with Edwards, UVA linebacker Clint Sintim (or some other first or second round LB) I'll be happy, fill holes with the remaining picks, maybe take a kicker like some want.
