Lubeck
I like I would assume many people was a big fan of his when the Gmen first drafted him. He made big plays, showed a lot of heart for the game, and seemed to be into winning. Don't know where it went the other way but he seemed...no he became more about himself. I'd love to see a list of players that took the money/numbers over team loyalty and see what percentage of them acutally ended up winning Championships. I know Gibril Wilson isn't helping that stat line.

Lubeck
Nor is Kawika Mitchell. Kawika did a decent job with the Bills. He also wasn't a Giants draft pick who traded away loyalty for money.

True, true. I guess I'm still a little bitter over him leaving.

I told a bunch of you that in March when I saw him strolling into the Atlantis Casino in the Bahamas at 3pm wearing a swimsuit and a wife beater looking hungover as all hell. I got a few sentences in with him before they brought him through the roped in secret entrance used for celebrities (im assuming) and I knew he wanted nothing to do with the Giants anymore. The guy is selfish, injury prone and declining faster than Shaun Alexander.

ppodlesny
Jerry Reese looks like a genious for that trade...tell me the Saints wouldn't love to do that deal over again.
JMFP
As a Giants fan, I loved Shockey's enthusiasm, and he gave us some great plays (e.g., scoring that TD over Dawkins in the season finale v Eagles to clinch a playoff spot a few years back). He put his body on the line again and again for his team, and he brought a lot of fire to the offense. And now, thanks to Shockey, we've got an extra 2nd round draft pick in 2009. So, thanks for everything Shockey, and hope you enjoy watching the Giants in the playoffs. Maybe you and Tiki can get together somewhere and makes cracks about Coughlin, the coordinators, the training staff, the GM, Eli's leadership, etc., etc., etc. Because as you and Tiki both now, playing for Coughlin sucks. fishgutmartyr
Can we just let this die? All I care about at this point is the pretty draft picks we're getting.
