Okereke and McFadden are B+ guys. Thibs should pass rush every down. Cannot shed a block or set an edge. Ojulari is inconsistent at best. Will never command a chip from a RB or TE, let alone a double team.
Lawrence is awesome. Williams best years are behind him. Encouraged by Davidson, but he has a ways to go.
The fact we essentially play a 2-5 may play into it, but guys like Strahan/Tuck/JPP/Osi could play the run on the way to the QB. We have 1 guy, 2 on a good day, who can do that.
Secondary as a hole is meh. I don't hate our safeties and our CBs are inexperienced. If they stay together, I think that would serve well for 2024...but that involves resigning McKinney who deserves an offer, but not about to reset the markwt for him.

I don’t think he covers any deficiencies at all.
Made Josh Dobbs look like Warren Moon.
I won't absolve him of all responsibility, but I'd put the lion's share on the players who can't tackle or get off a block.

As for the line...we have 3 viable starters in Thomas, JMS, and Neal. In the case of JMS and Neal...note I said viable and not proven.
Neal needs to be a guard...like tomorrow.
Literally every other player is trash. Lemieux, Peart, Ezeudu, Bredeson, Glowinski...all hot garbage.

I think Wink covers a lot of deficiencies. We cannot create pressure with 4 or even 5 guys. Blitzes are dialed up and we sometimes get lucky. His hands are tied with guys who can't set and edge and tackle like garbage.
Scheme-wise, I think he does just fine given what he has in the front 7

Opening line. Wait til enough money comes in on Dolphins to cover...line may move closer to 13.5.

He doesn’t want to slide… trying too hard. Not very smart of course but here we are.
Sliding head first might get Jones off the field sooner.

Might just have to bet them to cover

I think we are all in shock because even the worst expectations for the season weren't this bad.
Any news on JMS injury?

Wonder if Pugh's rubber broke and he accidentally knocked a bitch up. Maybe it's gambling debt. I dunno...why else would he be so hard up that joining this mess sounds like a good idea

I have nfl+ which gives me access to the all-22 replays. I've wanted to watch just to see if guys are open or if it's just a matter of having no time to throw. I feel like Dallas was bad from a...just no fucking time perspective where as this one was at least a step or two towards indecision. Not saying he had a clean pocket at all...just a gut feeling on my part. I can rewatch Seattle tonight and see.
I think generally guys put in the effort for Daboll. I just think they're not any good

Waller is the one that surprises me. Based on offseason and preseason...he looked like a solid check down option at least.
Not sure if he is just needed to block or if he is hurt or what...but he has disappeared.
Jones has 3 seconds tops to throw the ball and that's with a hand in his face

God...can you imagine the Dolphins meetings/practice this week? Whoever it was that was battling Tyreek Hill for league lead in yards is looking at this like..."fuck, Hill's got the Giants this week. No record for me."

I think both Eli and Arch Sr will be telling him to avoid the Giants lol
I don't think Eli would throw the Giants under the bus. But I think Arch is prolly smart enough to make that choice on his own.

Dimes is regressing to year 2 and 3 Dimes.
Not a good thing to do after signing that contract.
That's fully guaranteed the first two years.
Lololol
This team stinks.
Look...I joke and exaggerate a bit...cause I truly feel bad for Jones...cause we proved in the SB that even Brady fell to constant pressure.
That said, we are back to passing 5 yards when we need 12. Back to being 1 dimensional after 3 series. Back to turnovers and allowing points off turnovers. Now we have added shitty special teams too.
Jones, even with time, even with talent around him, is good enough to win...but hasn't been good enough to cover for anyone else's deficiencies. And I think he is gonna be shell shocked at some point, if not already, beyond repair.

We might only get sacked 15 times against one of the best pass rushing teams too.
Ooh...thats a good question...which will be higher...number of tackles for loss including sacks or the point differential?

Super deep QB class though.
Top 5 nets you a franchise kid.
Yeah, but we'll trade down and get a D3 guy cause he's white, talks nice, and looks like a dope

I don't think it'll be worse than tonight.
Miami got a wake up call yesterday.
One that might tell them to keep their foot on the gas.
I dunno...maybe they pull their starters after the 3rd and we only lose by 14.

Martindale and Kafka both need to be handed their walking papers in the locker room, and as much as I wanted Schoen and Daboll they have 1 stretch to get it right with their own QB once this OL gets Jones killed before they need to be gone as well.
Thing is...Bears might still beat us to 1st overall pick...and we aren't replacing Jones in the offseason even if we do, so there's that

Don't worry, we'll beat the Dolphins Sunday.
I have heard some good ones in my day but that's funny. Gonna be 21-0 in 1st quarter and we're gonna go all pass as if we will have a chance to catch up...their defense gonna tee off and it'll be this all over...but worse
-
Seattle should call timeouts so they can hit Jones some more

Somehow the Seahawks patchwork offensive line got it done tonight, and their 29th ranked defense too.
We got 1 sack.
They have 8.
Speaks to our defense more than their offense I think. We still cant get pressure without blitzing and even then we dont get home leaving the secondary exposed.

Is Jones playing well…. No
is any other player on this offense playing well…. Answer is also no
I'd give Robinson a shout out for playing well. Breida wasn't awful.
But the rest could be replaced by PS guys and get same result

To put it in perspective; the Seahawks were the 29th ranked defense coming in. The Panthers put up 30 points on them with. We can't manage more than 3.
Well...when you cant run or pass because your line sucks ass, your QB turns the ball over and your ST sucks...
-
I think Daboll is a good coach, despite this bullshit. Would say same for Wink.
ST guy is awful.
