  1. I read 5%. I am not worried about it. Hard luck is part of football. He's also put together back to back injury free seasons, spectacular seasons. He's the best QB in the draft, in my humble opinion of course, and while I get the injury concerns, I am also banking on a thorough examination by a lot of teams and if there are legitimate concerns, he'll obviously drop. But he's the real deal talent wise. And the Giants are a good fit, let him sit a year behind Jones and save the wear and tear on his body and get stronger.
  2. I would be upset it we opted for Nix instead of Penix. And I don't dislike Nix, was on his bandwagon most of this year until i actually watched Washington and Oregon head to head. Penix is one of the best quarterbacks coming into the draft I have seen.
  3. Please add your name below to petition the New York Giants to draft franchise saving QB Michael Penix Jr.
  4. The way they have been playing they need to figure shit out and tune up on us. But I also think it is too important to them to keep their streak alive against us. The resting the starters is fine either way, probably assures a 1 and done playoff for them and we can get Penix outside of the top 10.
  5. It was a fun game. Nice seeing Hyatt and Robinson continue to be used and develop.
  6. I think Taylor swifts is incredibly attractive and a lot of her songs are catchy. She’s not at the top of my list, but she’s on the list.
  7. The problem is looking back on it, I think a lot of us thought Eli’s age was getting to him and his talent fading. When it could likely be he had some good years left and the ownerships inability to put a competent front office together fucked him out of those years and a no question first ballot HOF resume.
  8. Lets say he continues to grow as a player. Keeps showing the improvement week to week in his play. Continues to be that offensive spark. Plays well and beats the Saints. Plays well and keeps us competitive against the Eagles. Plays well and either beats or is competitive against the Rams. Plays well and beats the Eagles. And lets say he becomes more than a game manager, but really starts putting some offensive production together. A couple 300 yard 2+ TD performances and is a difference maker on the offense and the O is scoring 20+ each game, sprinkling in 30 points in a couple of those games. At what point, if this happens, do you say we don't draft a QB and Tommy deserves a legit shot to start next season.
  9. Tommy is going to end up with a Ryan Fitzpatrick career. Bounce around to 12 different teams and be the guy for a year until a tan drafts their real guy. And every time he comes in to start a game the fans will go ape shit. He’ll have a legendary career as a fan favorite across the league because he has fun both playing and as a caricature.
  10. I said it in the game thread, I’m not making any predictions about his future. But if Daniel jones was playing at exactly this level the talk wouldn’t be about who his replacement would be next year.
  11. I googled it and that’s what it came up with. Not up on my ethnic slurs.
  12. I’m really enjoying where we are. Rooting for the win instead of draft position but a loss doesn’t really matter. I don’t think we can play ourselves out of contention for Penix
  13. I saw a quote somewhere from some coach people quote I suppose, that you shouldn’t draft your WR until you have your qb. But watching Richie James and Isaiah Hodges be the team’s leading receivers last year proved that wrong to me.
  14. Yeah getting hit a lot, never having open receivers, never having an apex predator type receiver, and the pressure of a huge contract destroyed him. I’d feel bad but honestly he played his cards right. Absolute worst case, if 2022 was not the real DJ, he still walks a very rich man and probably some teams will keep trying to make him the guy.
  15. No question Tommy is making the most of his moment and having a good time. But he’s also avoiding pursue and keeping his eyes downfield. not saying he’s the starter of the future, just that if we say this exact same play out of jones, we’d be pretty content to say the team over performed last year and the line still needs work. The commentary wouldn’t be jones isn’t the guy I mean.
  16. I don’t mind going for it. But I don’t like the optics of going for it after the decision to punt because the crowd didn’t like the decision. And I don’t running outside the tackles for short yardage on fourth down.
  17. Did the crowd just change Daboll mind?
  18. Evasive while looking down field. That’s the missing element in Jones
  19. Honestly. I know I know I know. But if Danny Dimes was moving around throwing the ball and playing like this, there wouldn’t be any question if he’s the starter next year.
