  1. Mine too. I wore my Eli jersey for the opener. For the eagles I didn't wear one umtill half time, then i put on my Tiki jersey. For the Seahawks game I wore Eli again. For all of our next wins i wore my Tiki jersey. For the Bears game I forgot to put it on, the 8 PM shit messed me up, basically I sayt and watched football all day and never thought of putting it on. Tiki jersey is 6-0 and I forgot to, wear it.
  2. It's hard to sustain long drawn out drives when you do not run the ball. The fact the the coaches decided to turn last night into a passing game in the cold/wind/rain makes me question the squash between their ears. You have the best RB in Giants history and the leagues leading rusher plus a bruising 260 lbs RB and you run 21 times in THAT weather? our coaches are morons. Felley has the leg definately, but on a wet field kicking into the wind down 4 anyway, the only logical thing to do was to punt and hope Feagles canb pin them inside the 10.
  3. All he had to do was was punt, even if the ball went into the endzone the bears would have at best started on the 20.
  4. OK guys, if you're gonna make excuses for the coaches bringing up our injuries, lets discuss them On offense we started without Toomer. Then lost luke. On defense, we were down to using a DT as a DE. Strahan, Osi, Tuck. All injured. Our D was patchwork at best. how did we call the game? Well, we threw the ball ofcorse. You have Tiki running wel, and you have jacobs on the sideline. We could have ran the ball relentlessly. We could have ate up the clock and keep the D on the sideline. Instead, we throw the ball in a cold/windy/rainy game with our # 2 WR not playing and our LT getting injured. Please do not make excuses for these coaches, yes we have countless injuries, but the coaches dod not play to our advanteges. Our coaches gave away this win, bottom line.
  5. I'm not saying he played well, he did look horrible. but I don't think he played bad enough to warrant bench time. He threw some bad passes, lots of those were from throwing off his back foot. If you think he had protection, I really don't know what to say. What I saw was Whittle getting owned and Eli getting his arm swatted on a few occasions, and constant pressure making him throw from his back foot.
  6. Yeah, but the Bears did what we should have done. They ran 30+ times. We stopped blitzing and sat back and let him choose his target. Eli was set up to fail last night. We stopped running and couldn't protect him.
  7. Amen. rainiy, windy, cold and we threw constantly. Eli was set up to fail, not to mention we lose our LT. Why Jacobs only got 2 carries in that game will go down as one of the biggest myseries ever.
  8. Lets not be dumb here guys. A QB isn't gonna be effective when he is asked to throw on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down. The Bears got pressure and we abandoned the run. We ran the ball 21 times, twenty fucking 1, and BJ only touched the ball twice. It was raining and cold, not ideal throwing conditions anyway, no reason we didn't turn this game into exactly what it should have been. A grinding running attack. We had them on their heels early on both sides of the ball, and we stopped blitzing and stopped running. Eli is going to be a terrific QB if he ever gets coaches that have not fried their brain cells.
  9. One thing about it, they certainly weren't impressed with us. Could we have beat them? Absolutely, unfortunately we have Bronco Billy and his band of morons coaching this team. Lovie Smith must have been looking on the other sideline and gigling like a school girl.
  10. Yes, he's the obvious chice. thanks the coaches. obviously a broken leg is a fluke injury, but all this other shit is on the coaches. Vick broke his leg in the preaseason and came back in like week 11 or something. Luke is done for the year.
  11. You can thank huff for this. our D is wore out. maybe now we can rn once or twicea series huh?
  12. Fcukin shit. This is why we need to run. the D is tired. 2 very good RB;s and we throw. D's tired.
  13. Yeah, not to mention the no call on Urlacher. refs are BS.
  14. D is looking great. nice job by Lewis with the blitzes. O has looked good too, huff needs to stick wioth the run in the red zone though.
  15. After 3 weeks we looked bad, real bad. 5 straight wins later most games we looked real good. We have looked just as good if not better than the Bears. There is 1 key to this game. pressure on grossman. We pressure him we win.
  16. Yeah, most of us here were members of the GMB and spent most of the time in the CE section. There is definately a comfort factor. but this group here is definately a cool group, and with Rik and JR in charge of keeping trolls away, it'll remain a place for real fans.
  17. Just proves we;'re better than them. i hope they stay as healthy going out as they are coming in, and we beat them by 20 points. Fuck the bears and their week schedule.
  18. In the last 38 hours I've had 3 hours of sleep. And i couldn't be more wide awake.
  19. I'm assuming Wilkerson is starting? if so, he needs to blitz every play. Emmons is decent in coverage and Wilk being a rookie shouldn't be trusted covering a TE or RB. let ilk blitz and we should be OK.
  20. How can Ptt have 6 losses. i've watched them the last 2-3 weeks and they have a good team, they just find a way to lose. The pass D is their weekness, but still they can drop 30 points on you and kill your QB.
  21. No kidding,k waiting sucks. At least the Balt/Titans game and Steelers/Saints games were/are entertaining enough to keep me busy during this down time. Plus, gives me a few extra hours to get a buzz on before the Giants play. Which means I'll be extra emotional and unpredictable.
  22. Well, we have a gameday thread pinned here, but smu can start an official gameday bitchfest thread. that might be fun.
