I think it's unfair to call Goodson a 2-down linebacker. But if you do, you have to call Ragland a 2-down linebacker. In passing downs, 'Bama almost never had him drop... there's a reason for that.

I liked the first three picks last year, but felt the back half was kind of blah. Although I'm still kind of enthralled about Geremy Davis' potential.

Harvard (combine freak, a little undersized TE prospect) OG Landon Turner, North Carolina (really hope Giants bring him in) WR Keyarris Garrett, Tulsa (was a favorite late round target of mine) WR Devon Cajuste, Stanford (6'4" receiver, big body, fast 3 cone... quick feet, not fast) RB Josh Ferguson, Illinois (smaller running back can be a factor as a returner) SS Tyvis Powell, Ohio State (bigger safety) SS Jeremy Cash, Duke (curious as to why he fell out of the draft) OG Dominick Jackson, Alabama QB Jake Coker, Alabama (starting QB on a national championship team that put up 45 points, unreal he didn't get drafted, got better as the season went along and really developed into a leader. Can replace Nassib as backup QB when he leaves in FA). WR Jalin Marshall, Ohio State (quick, speedy WR that scouts had great things to say about, didn't see a lot of balls because of Michael Thomas and Braxton Miller, but flashed when he did). OT Avery Young, Auburn (developmental tackle) DT Nile Lawrence-Stample (untapped potential, as an FSU guy I know he really flashed at times, but didn't reach his full potential, but has tools to do it in the NFL if the coaches can pull it out of him) I'm sure BB25 will have more.

Joe, although I have a lot of hours in of study (because I love this stuff and its a passion thing), it pales in comparison to the man hours that Reese and his staff have in this process. Not only that, but they are privy to A LOT more information than I have available to me. Sure, I hit on guys because you should be able to see talent that's there. But I'm not working in the confines of roster position squeezes and positional budget allocation, etc. And nothing happens to me if I make a bad call on a player. My job isn't on the line, and the public doesn't tell me how much I suck. You should trust Reese more, as crazy as that sounds. But I will celebrate a little when Beau Sandland and Braxton Miller score their first TD's. And also, BB25 is fantastic at this stuff, too. He starts getting to know these players a lot farther out than I do.

My guy Beau Sandland just got picked right before Mr. Irrelevant for the Carolina Panthers. 2 picks away from being signable as a UDFA. Dadgummit... see, Gettleman knows. In all honesty, Adams should've been the pick in the 6th. He's bigger and faster, played at a big program, SEC. But damn, still wish we could've gotten Sandland. BB25's Ben Braunecker is available as a UDFA, though! Combine warrior! Harvard man!

1st Rd: CB Eli Apple, Ohio State Long, young, still improving athletic phenom, was the best DB on multiple team's boards after Jalen Ramsey. 2nd Rd: WR Sterling Shepard, Oklahoma Best route runner in the class, tremendous athlete, only 5'10", but strength and physicality of a bigger receiver, lateral movement ability surpassed by no one. 3rd Rd: FS Darian Thompson, Boise State Ball skills, ball skills, ball skills. Center fielder, here's hoping we get a lot of turnovers. Only real head-scratcher for me in the draft with Justin Simmons on the board. 4th Rd: MLB B.J. Goodson, Clemson NFL body, polish, instinctual linebacker, projects as long-term middle linebacker solution for the Giants. 5th Rd: RB Paul Perkins, UCLA Athletic, shifty, slippery RB with enough of a physical nature to stick his nose in pass protection, as well as a polished receiver out of the backfield. Can be a 3-down running back. 6th Rd: TE Jerell Adams, South Carolina Big and fast, receiving TE with great hands, needs some work as a blocker, but a definite pass catching threat with speed to win the seam deep. Good value in the 6th and can contribute early. I feel better about this draft than any in recent memory. Love the players they got, love the position values they got. Very clear they came in with a draft strategy and executed it very well. Go Giants!

I watch them on mute! Sy'56's take - 5th best TE in the class (I think he's spot on). 5 – JERRELL ADAMS – 6’5/247 – SOUTH CAROLINA: 72 Fourth year senior. Has a freakish frame and shows flashes of being an absolute terror to cover. Size and speed are there. Looks like he is easily adding the needed bulk to his frame. Adams is still considered a raw prospect that is long on talent and tools, but short on skills. He still shows awkward movement in short space at times. Adams is a high effort player that can get up the seam in a blink and easily catches the ball with his hands. He doesn’t make a big impact as a blocker but he gets after his man hard. He bends well and he knows how to use his long arms. Adams has the upside to be an all around tight end if he can continue to add weight and refine his route running. There is an upside here that very few tight ends possess. *I was ready to have a 2nd round grade on Adams. Talent wise I think he has the goods to be a big time matchup problem for opposing defenses. Speed and length with nice ball skills are always a good combination. I got some information on Adams inability to stay consistent off the field, however. He doesn’t work hard and didn’t take care of his business. People from his own camp were pretty down on him. That’s rare because it’s usually the other way around to a fault. Upside is enormous with this kid if he can turn that around,

Bigblue25... In your defense, Braunecker MURDERED the combine. Only 6'3" 250, but that's not far off from Sandland's 6'4" 253. Sandland was offered at Miami, though, and chose to go play close to home. I can get on board with either guy, but I love me some Beau Sandland.

We're getting pretty close to the sixth round, Giants with the 9th pick in the round, should go pretty quickly.

Rashard Higgins just went off the board, I think that was one of your guys, BB25... end of the 5th round. I think that is about right for him.

I think the Titans wanted Conklin the whole time, even before the video leak, and wouldn't have been surprised if Conklin was the choice regardless of the video. I read that there was already some whispers about Tunsil in terms of the off-field red flags.

Yeah I did know his hand size was a problem, small hands for his size, and I'm sure that has something to do with it. I hadn't read that report so thanks. He made a beautiful one-handed catch, I think against Syracuse. That Syracuse tape on him is really good.
