This could be a major problem during the SB if we don't jump out to an early lead and force the Giants to pass to catch up. Strahan and Osi are beasts, and their pass rush is maybe the best in the entire league (while also being stout against the run) Additionally, I have long thought Eli Manning is a pretty clutch performer, even in his second year he would have a clunker of a game but then in the 4th quarter turn it up and lead his team to victory. To be honest, I am more scared of the Giants than I was of the Packers. Let's not forget, the G-Men led the Pats by 12 points deep in the 3rd quarter just a month ago. ********************** Let's not forget that the Patriots were missing some guys aswell that affected the offensive packages. Still, the Gaints are playing very very well. Imagine if they still had runningback Derrick Ward playing. That running game game would be deadly. I've said it before, but this has all the makings of another game like superbowl 38. I think we're in for a wild one. ********************** I should start off by saying I like the Giants. They are my NFC team purely out of convenience since we get all their games. But honestly, I think this rematch is going to be a lot easier than Week 17.

More Eagles Drama Come on Igglefans. Be happy that at least a NFC East team is representing in the Big Game. Your team had some bad luck this year starting with a QB whose time has past. Andy Reid's time is over as well. We have seen his character this season. His family in turmoil and yet he continues to coach a team that has no chance of making the playoffs. The birds have some real good players. Westbrook is a great player. Led the league in yards from scrimmage. Any team would love to have him in their backfield. With a decent draft and a solid trade to get rid of McNabb, the team will have a decent year next year. But for now, cheer on the Giants or the Pats. Either a team in your division will rise to the top and you can say that the NFC east is the best division in football, or you can witness history as the Pats are champions. Redskins Board Ok, with the Giants going on this amazing run, two thoughts are brought to mind: 1. The NFL season is loooooooong. It's not just a marathon, it's the freaking Iron Man triathlon...a sweeping epic novel with so many plot twists and storylines unfolding each week. Think back to week two...the Giants defense was godawful, Eli was "injured" for months, Plex has a bum ankle, and the team was about to mutiny against a coach who was about to get fired. Well, a goal-line stand against us at FedEx, and suddenly new life. I'll keep this in mind during future Septembers. Don't panic or overreact. It's a long season. 2. We aren't that far off. This Giants team...the one that blew through the NFC playoffs on the road, the one that went toe-to-toe with New England in week 17 and will play them again in the super bowl? We just beat them! We went up to their place a few weeks ago, playoffs on the line for both teams, and flat-out beat them. I'm wondering if Snyder is thinking about this...that we don't need a major overhaul...just a few improvements while we keep building. If so, that seems like a good reason to promote Grilliams. ***************** I seriously think I'll not watch the Toilet Bowl this year! Yecch!
