We won with resiliency and the ability to overcome adversity last year. Let's do it again.
It's a wake up call that every single player on the team is going to have to step up. d-linemen, DBs, LBs, and the O as a whole.
this injury was gonna happen eventually. it didnt even look like that bad of a fall and his knee still exploded.
still pissed as hell. guys are gonna have to step up.
eli played well but the 3 passes in the red zone irritated me as well as the pass that got batted down by that lowery guy. eli should know better that with a corner coming into the blitz he should at least pump not throw the ball into the guy's outstretched arms.
other than that i wasnt too unhappy with eli.
Is making me want to shoot myself.
The Jets propaganada is making me wanna puke. He says that Favre did everything and more of what was expected of him and the jets didn't score one fucking point.
Then he credits their D for shutting our high powered explosive offense out for the first half. Even with Burress this is not a higher powered offense.
Brutal :brooding:
i think this game is proving that on offense we really need to get more of the big play. moving the ball isnt that much of an issue but when we get to midfield we stall.
blu what's your problem with moss tonight? i'm not a fan of his either but he hasn't really done anything noticably bad tonight...
I know the teams we've been playing hte last two weeks are complete shit but im still surprised about how well we've been playing.
I really hope we make the playoffs not only because I want to see them in october but i'd like to see jerry come back for sure after this season. He has these guys playing hard.
Jon Niese is reaching his innings limit. You think Omar and co. are willing to screw around with our #1 pitching prospect and make him a reliever for the next month?
Bobby Harnell is another name too.
Coughlin openly said that he was not pleased about what Droughns said about him not being committed last year.
Ware is a talented kid. I'd rather keep him then a guy who's best upside is making a tackle on the 30 during a kick return.
I'd rather keep the first, save a lot of cash, and develop all the talented receivers we have from within. Keep in mind we're at a point right now that whoever we cut from the WRs is most likely someone we think is good enough to play for plenty of other teams.
This is an offense predicated on power running and we don't need two big time receivers that would eat up too much of our cap.
He needs to stop screaming and shoving players after a play too. Eventually that's gonna cost us 15 and no one's gonna be happy then.
I love Omar Gaither's quote on Jacobs. They asked him how you go about tackling a guy like JAcobs and he says, "All 11 guys. That guy is a freak."
There was a rumor out there after D'Hall was traded to the Raiders that the Falcons were willing to seal the deal if we traded Danny Ware in addition to the 1st rounder we put on the table.
That rumor is laughable though there's no way that's true
I think my expectations were just too high for John heading into the year.
I still hope he can improve a lot in the next few years. Watching him pitch is really frustrating.
i was pretty dissappointed by maine as a starter this year. it seems like he doesn't really have a second plus pitch that he can strike hitters on. he had a lot of success the first half of the year in 07 but the last half he wasnt economical with his pitches. Now he's having a shoulder problem.
The guy does look a little too skinny to be a consistent year in year out pitcher too.
I'm a big fan of John Fox but his team has been dormant the last two years. I still think the Panthers are poised for a big year this year. Two years without a playoff berth is long enough IMO.
If Reid ever won the big game he'd be a front runner because he was just magnificent with the Eagles for practically a decade.
