its tough to get more than what the saints offered for a loudmouth injury prone TE who has a lot of wear and tear on hisbody... the 40th pick overall and a 5th round pick for a TE is pretty damn good.

if reese wanted shockey out why didnt he pull the trigger on the same exact deal 3 months ago? he waited so long because he was hoping that shockey would change his mind and want to be a giant.

xxi my post wasnt a rebuttal to what you said but more of an add on. all i said was i wouldnt use the Bills game as a gauge and it was directed more towards those reading your post...

the bills were terrible against the run last year so i wouldnt gauge on that. jacobs looked pretty tentative running outside throughout the playoffs and i think the loss of shockey was a reason for that. if shockey wanted to be a giant he'd be here right now. the fact that we waited until three days before training camp to trade him proves reese was dying to keep him in a giants uniform but simply couldnt do it.

give bush the same patience that the eagles gave westbrook and he'll be fine.

it depends on who you choose to believe. there were so many rumors from different sides its hard to believe evey single one was made up and shockey actually wanted to be a giant. i think if shockey wanted to be a giant he'd be here right now.

you know whats funny? we lost the two games with shockey, and won without him. theres no denying shockey is a force and a great player but its clear he was not willing to be a NYG this season. and with that he had to go.

i think the giants are really high on jennings. if he still has his speed in camp this year he might give Moss a run for his money.

Id rather build a franchise around a #3 hitter and work up then an ace. More likely the hitter lasts longer then the pitcher's arm. When it comes to October ill take the SP every time.

schneider does everything else very well. calls a good game, good defense, and a good baserunner. he has an idea of what he's doing out there and i think he's more valuable then you think.

so this thread is gonna be bumped every time he has an off start? not to be an apologist but his career ERA is above 6 when getting 6 or more days of rest.
