  1. i dont feel like listing all my reasons why he sould be fired. I dont have enough time. I am very disapointed with the organization. This team has become a joke. I wont be going to a game next year and I am not buying anymore jerseys, shirts, hats, etc. At this point I dont really care that much about the Giants. My dad actually called me up and we both were very frustrated. Jokingly we said we should find a new team. We never would, but it's getting kind of sad how pathetic this situation is. The thing thats most important to me is Eli Manning having success. I am becoming more of an Eli fan than a Giants fan.
  2. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2726797 Um, you're John Thomson, the guy who is lucky he has a job. Dont throw somebody under the bus like that, you're John Thomson.
  3. sad thing is next year we'll start out 5-3 or 6-2 once again. People will say hey good thing they didn't fire Coughlin. However, we're so talented we can beat teams with no coach. Then some guys will get injured, Coughlin will have to coach, the plays they call on offense will have to get creative, and then we're going to suck in the 2nd half, be one and done in the playoffs if they make it. All 3 years when Coughlin was here and he was forced to coach in a game and outcoach somebody, he failed. I guess we're settling for mediocrity. I have more respect for Isiah Thomas than Tom Coughlin.
  4. you know I love rooting for classy teams (Yankees and Giants), However, sometimes I wish they would just balls up and fire his ass right away. Send a god damn statement to the team.
  5. God, I'd say I am a decent guy. I try hard to do the right things in life. Why must you torture me?
  6. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2725854 The New York Giants are likely to retain embattled head coach Tom Coughlin, but a conference call originally scheduled for Tuesday afternoon to discuss his status was postponed as organizational meetings continued. Coughlin will enter the final year of his contract in 2007 at a salary of $3 million, but speculation is that Giants ownership will extend his deal by at least one year to keep the veteran coach from being a lame duck. A source close to Coughlin told ESPN.com on Tuesday that he is "cautiously optimistic" the coach will be retained and that his contract will be extended. But the postponement of the Tuesday conference call signaled there are still some elements to be resolved, possibly with the contract extension and also probably with staffing issues.
  7. This is the true Jap stud... Chicks dig the long ball.
  8. That coat though.... Did they make a quick stop at Sears?
  9. it's all set up to get clemens. I never said the Yankees rotiation is better than the Sox. I just wanted to express my opinion that it's closer than you think.
  10. Kind of ironic that Coughlin tried overly hard to instill discipline and his team has none today. Anyway, Shannon Sharpe said, "I would rather die in an abandoned building alone, and my family not know what happened, than play for Coughlin." i just saw that in a daily news article and had to laugh and remind you all of it. It's just reason 647 why he should get fired.
  11. I agree complete with VG. Eli is here to stay, and like it or not he's won games for us and he's a better than average QB with a big upside. As soon as he gets his INT numbers down he will be a Pro Bowler. We cant get rid of him, and he's going to be here for at least a few more years. Shockey is here to stay. I cant see him going. He wants to win. He's limping all over the field playing with his helmet off. Thats a ton of desire and heart, more than I can say about a few guys on this team. Plax could go and I wouldn't mind. I was impressed a bit with what he did in the playoffs. But his attitude stinks. Like somebody said, he's a shade below TO. I wouldn't signing a WR or using our 1st rounder on one.
  12. yup, he won 2 super bowls here, and we've won 0 since he left.
  13. You know up until the last 2 games I really questioned Tiki's desire to win. He didn't look like he was giving himself up for those extra few yards or sacrificing his body. I hate to say it, but I think the Giants might be better off without his "I dont care anymore" attitude. I never thought I would say that and it really angers me. Once he announced his retirement he wasn't the leader of the team anymore. He didn't care. At least guys like Jacobs want to play and will do anything they can to win.
  14. Michael Jordan too, but he came back. I also dont blame him for retiring. He still loved the game, his life was just a bit of a mess.
  15. the answer is nobody. Tiki's 1662 rushing yards is the highest for anybody to ever retire on. and i'm pretty sure his 234 yards against the skins is the highest for the last game of somebody's career.
  16. cheer up, jaspers won. 3-1 in the MAAC
  17. what bothers me is i dont think he cares about the football hall of fame. He's not an idiot. He knows he's iffy right now. All he would have to do is play one more year at this same level and he's in. He'd be a lock. If a player doesn't care about the hall of fame, then I dont respect him. He's got the most rushing yards in the final year of his career. More than any other RB in history. You know how many kids out there would practically die to be the RB for the Giants. You know how many college kids out there would have loved to play in the NFL. You know how many RB's in the NFL wanted to be great and never were. Tiki had it all, and I get the feeling he really doesn't care.
  18. i'm still trying to figure out what he thought was so funny when akers hit that field goal.
  19. a big offensive rebounder on their team and they need to get one. Well now David Lee and Ben Wallace are tied for the league lead with 3.9 per game depite Lee playing 4.5 minutes less per game than Wallace. SO WHY DOES DAVID LEE NOT START!!! I DONT GET IT!!!

    I'm hurt

I am sad now. The anger has gone away and frustration is starting to sit in. This isn't right. We should be sitting on a fucking bye right now having a home game scheduled against one of these pathetic teams. We're the most talented team in the NFC. We almost won this game on just our pure talent. I fucking cant stand this joke Coughlin. I stayed up an extra few hours to read the daily news and post at 4 AM. They want him gone, but they even suggested that they should keep him a year and go after cowher or weis the year after. Bullshit. I'd rather Gilbride or some random ass guy coach get a 1 year contract than have clueless tom back. My anger is not going away until Coughlin goes. The only thing in my tank right now is that Eli played well and has shown he's getting better. His completion percentage was up this year. He finished at like 58% up from 53% and it would have been over 60% had Toomer not got hurt or they had some receivers. Eli is the savior. :worshippy: This isn't Coughlin's Giants anymore and this isn't Tiki's Giants anymore. THIS IS ELI'S TEAM AND HE'S READY TO TAKE IT OVER NEXT YEAR. I FEEL IT!!! ok i can go to sleep now, bye.
