  1. I don't think I have ever been so disinterested in watching a GIANTS game.
  2. Not a McAdoo fan at all. I think someone is trying to keep Eli happy and confident. At least Chip Kelly wasn't hired.
  3. Nice job...congrats to you and your team.
  4. VG~if your Rangers can beat the Yankees, I'll reconsider that marriage proposal.
  5. This guy--white, black-or blue-is nothing but an attention whore, who seriously needs to get a life. I want my 7+minutes back for listening to that crap.
  6. Although I will admit I have been a bit "absent" from running my mouth on the board (still have this superstitious thing about me) I have read plenty. Not sure what section this "history" is...but xxi makes no bones about his distaste for the Phillies--and I can appreciate that. Mine is probably the same for the Mets, but that's what makes us great fans of the game. Carry on. I will continue to read. :geek: Perhaps next time, you will catch my at the end of the sentence.
  7. I find it more than ironic that this thread started with a statement about Ibanez being "over-rated". Seems he put the period at the end of that statement, last night. Good series, once again. While I am happy with the outcome, I will admit I have a certain fear about playing the Mets...everytime. I doubt that will ever change, no matter how many times we come from behind to win.
  8. Hey, even perfection comes to an end...eventually. At this point, I would settle for something near solid, but even that may be a stretch. Looks like good offense is gonna have to keep this team afloat...for now. :glare:
  9. How's that confidence working for you now?
  10. Over-reaction is a disease in Philadelphia.
  11. Suddenly, I have this warm, fuzzy feeling for VG and BigBlue.
  12. I went...about 7 years ago. One of the best days (as a GIANTS fan) I have ever had! I was all over the place...Stadium club, press box, turf, and the LOCKER ROOM!! Soooo cool. The locker room was unbelieveable! Players were everywhere. I got to meet Harry Carson, Joe Morris, my personal fav, Otis Anderson (sat for a couple of pics with him ) and a ton of others. It may have been the first one they had, so it was not as popular which may have cut down on the crowd a bit, but it was awesome. They have changed things up a bit, but well worth it. I would HIGHLY suggest you go if you can.
  13. I hope the Eagles go to the Superbowl. ...and then choke, once again.
  14. ...Hey, if the ass fits, by all means wear it.
  15. They weren't...that's the problem.
  16. Plaxico is an ass that was seemingly forgotten about (by the team) on the very next day. We played like champs in his absence, and should have continued in that game. The Eagles did not play well, they got lucky and we should have won that game. Carney misses 2, Eli throws a critical pick and Coughlin should have taken the wind in the 4th quarter. We could all go on forever with the Monday morning quarterbacking...but those three stick out in my mind as the things that turned that game right over to the Eagles.
  17. I blame Carney. :brooding:
  18. Make yourself feel better... When the Eagles lose either to Atlanta or in the Superbowl, (which they will)... come to PA and listen to all those diehard Eagles fans. Then you will see the true fanbase they have.
  19. I've been in Lincoln Financial for a GIANTS - Eagles game. I was given those tix, by one of their STH.
  20. I'm number 114872 on the waitlist for GIANTS season tickets. I bought into season tickets, 2 years ago...from another STH. I was 4 rows from the top, about mid field. The owners, supposed "friends" of my friend, sold them to us for OVER face value and made us take a preseason game--for which we paid over face value. No doubt these people were old, and only went to certain games--fair weather, most likely. Everyone around us was OVER 65 and left in the 3rd quarter. That is what you have in your stands. OLD, GREEDY too worried about the traffic to stick out one of 8 games on the schedule. Ebay and stub hub look good to an old person who is not into sitting in the cold to root on their team.
  21. Who cares about those two idiots? At least Humpty Dumpty has the balls to come on here and talk about his team, the Cowboys. Mr. Guido Weiner can't even align himself with one particular team, which conveniently absolves him from ever taking a beating about his "team". (nice move, btw.)
