  1. If I remember correctly the team had pretty clearly quit on him and the Shockeys and Strahans of the team were running their mouths non stop.
  2. One of the best games I've attended. Maybe the best. RIP Fassel. Hope you made it to the Big Boat in the Sky with High End Hookers.
  3. How do you know he's a Trumper? And is he friends with Jim or something?
  4. They both had weird Giants careers. Pugh was missing more and more time and looked like his body was breaking down. I know Arizona was unhappy with him at first but I think he had one season of grading out pretty well for them. Richburg? Flopped at Guard, but was arguably the best Center in the league the following year. Followed that up with an average season but then missed 12 games... with a concussion? I'm all for player safety but I've never heard of someone missing 12 games with a concussion; in a lost season my guess is there was something else going on there.
  5. Looks like letting him walk was the right choice. Honestly, I feel bad for the guy
  6. Honestly, we need help on the interior of the line, and I'm sure Moses doesn't wanna take a pay cut and/or play guard this season. He's probably just not in the cards. I'd rather wait for a serviceable guard or center to shake free.
  7. As a jew that can part the Red Sea of WFT, I think Gettleman is obligated to sign him.
  8. I don't remember any players looking tired in the 4th last year. I fucking love coach Judge and the culture he's created. Daniel Jones had all the WRs, linemen, and RBs down to Arizona for practice, and Logan Ryan got all the DBs together in Florida for drills and comraderie. For the first time since Coughlin, it really feels like the team is BUILDING something instead of just showing up for work.
  9. In related news: Noted Sportswrathian member Sephiroth doesn't know how Jamis Winston will look this season.
  10. Guess they liked what they saw in minicamp.
  11. He needs to be off the team. The fans are going to just fucking kill him the first time he drops a pass this season.
  12. I don't remember who the opponent was... I think maybe Green Bay... but there was one game two or three years ago where we were coming off a Monday Night game, the opponent was coming off a bye, and we had to travel to play them for a 1PM game. It was such bullshit... the opponent literally got twice the rest and preparation and of course we got fucking crushed.
  13. I went and watched more video... dude looks like a 4th round linebacker.
  14. I think we'll like Jamin too.
  15. Oh don't get me wrong, there's plenty of suck to go around on that side of the ball... makes you wonder why we more or less ignored it after the first pick. I was pounding the table for them to grab Tremble or Josh Palmer in the 3rd. That being said, we had the 31st ranked O-line last year and jettisoned our best player in that unit. Adding your 6th corner isn't going to help evaluate your franchise (or not) QB and honestly, that should be the focus of this upcoming season. I don't think any Giants fan wants another year of "well, Daniel Jones might be the answer, but with a 36% pressure rate and 45 sacks it's difficult to evaluate whether or not he's the man in NY." Unfortunately though, it looks like that's what we're getting.
  16. It was the most glaring weakness on the team and we didn't address it at all. Very disappointing.
  17. Also he's a 100% punk bitch. I don't want that crybaby on this team; he'll be asking for Judge to be fired by the second preseason game.
  18. You know he's gonna be a Hall of Famer too because he has a giant gap in his teeth.
  19. I come across the motherfucker's dope-ass rap... in a fucking SLAYER tee. I seriously love this kid.
  20. Wondering if there's any team that can trade an interior lineman to us for a package of Beal or Yiadom and Evan Engram.
  21. First of all, it's great to see you my man. I've been hearing this line of thinking quite a bit, and my problem with it is that it still doesn't jive. In the three drafts Gettleman had before this one, he's selected three O-linemen. In those same drafts, he's picked seven DBs. Last year, our defensive backfield was a strength, with two excellent starters, a promising rookie backup, a serviceable swing guy, and now two starting caliber corners to pair with two nice looking slot CBs. We even have a 3rd round supplemental guy that you can hope for if you wanna throw him in. On the line? We got rid of our best player and replaced him with the Texans worst lineman. At center and LT, we have two guys who look pretty good, but the rest of the line is either us hoping other guys pan out or hoping below-average players suddenly look better than they have to this point. I always say the team with the least amount of "ifs" is the one who'll win the division, but right now on offense it's, "If the LT and C are for real and if we can fine a Guard and if the RT pans out and if the QB finally gains some pocket presence and is for real we might be pretty good." That's way too many "ifs" for my liking. For the record, I hope I'm wrong.
  22. He can. He also likely to start the season on the PUP list. I disagree. The 2007 Giants didn't look like a Super Bowl team , but when Shockey got hurt, Kevin Boss was a more than adequate replacement. When Bradshaw was given more reps, he produced. Aaron Ross, Steve Smith, even Alford, DeOssie, and Michael Johnson contributed greatly to that run. The 2011 team... ok, you've got a point. That rookie class was straight dogshit. My point though is that we have a decent-to-good center and two backup guards starting, with not even a "promising rookie with potential" behind them, and thin talent at the skill positions. It's not difficult to envision many scenarios where the offense (and our season) is derailed.
  23. I think he'll be the "always open" guy that the team really needs.
