Dude... Nem... Taylor NEVER took a play off. The guy was the definition of "intensity." Missed assignments everyone has... but that guy threw a ball into the third tier with his LEFT arm when his right one was in a sling. You can get lippy with the coaching staff when you show up every week... the problem with Shockey is that he talked the talk, but only walked the walk about 50% of the time. For every big catch (like the one over Brian Dawkins to get us to the playoffs) there was a big drop (like the San Francisco playoff game that would have iced it for us).

Wow... he caught TWO passes so far this half! Those two plays MATCH his season total! How can we live without that guy!

I got a Jacobs one for me least year, and a Strahan, Osi, and Eli jersey for my dad, mom, and sister, respectively. Aside from one small stain on the eli one (by small I mean probably about 1/4 the size of a typical raisin) they've all been a steal, and held up really well. I wear my Jacobs jersey every Sunday... I don't even wear my Osi or Phillips replicas any more... and the fam all love theirs as well.

But how good is our team when we can overcome bad calls and non-calls and still beat a team that's 7-3? Dude... we're THAT good. In the past, calls like that woulda lost the game for us. Instead we still win.

Well... we didn't miss a FG or extra point, and Hixon had what.... 180 return yards? We weren't that bad. In fact, I'd say we were downright good.

I had a girl crash at my house last night and since we were going snowboarding this morning... I made breakfast at home instead of eating at Dot's Diner, which is where I have to eat breakfast on Sundays for the Giants to win. I can still wear the Brandon Jacobs jersey and hopefully that will still provide enough good mojo for us to get the victory, but if not... well, it's my fault if we lose today. Sorry, Giants nation.

I agree with you in almost every aspect, but also wanted to add (if you don't mind). 1. Eli - not only is he taking less sacks, his completion percentage is up around 60% which is vital to being a successful QB in this league. Also, he's spreading the ball out to his receivers quite a bit... it seems like just about every week, you have four guys with four catches apiece for 45 yards... and that ain't too shabby. 2. Plax - he worries me still a bit. On at least two occasions today I saw Plax dog it (the play where he knocked the ball away and the fade in the end zone that bounced off his hands) and get this: he has only ONE 100 yard receiving game so far this season. 3. The O line - finally getting respect around the league. It wouldn't surprise me if NONE of them made the Pro Bowl this year since they don't play for the Cowboys, but as a unit there isn't another group I'd rather have in the NFL.
