  1. Interesting perspective. I met a guy at the game two weeks ago who said he used to work at the club Burress frequented. He said they used to get famous people all the time in there and they NEVER patted anyone down or searched anybody. If a famous athlete was coming into the club they knew they were probably dropping ten grand, so nobody really gave a shit what they brought into the club.
  2. ...do I smell a placekicker controversy brewing?
  3. They certainly haven't been playing their best ball recently. The Eagles loss can be chalked up to bad luck (dropped passes, etc.) but they were clearly outplayed last Sunday vs. the Cowboys. Now that being said, when they're on I think they are as good as any team in the NFL... but we'll have a good idea of whether or not we should hit the panic button this Sunday vs. the Panthers.
  4. Webster Locked Up I think this is a good move.
  5. I was at that game. As usual, the "Giants faithful" sold their tickets because it was a big game, and about 15-20 percent of the fans were Cowboys fans... obnoxious, asshole Cowboys fans.
  6. Honestly, who DIDN'T see this coming? When you stock a team with talented, yet volatile players of course shit is going to unravel when things start going bad. Duh.
  7. My dad has to pay for his seats by friday, I think.
  8. "The Giants really miss Plaxico Burress.... blah, blah, blah...." Dude... we played a dog shit game and were still in it at the end. Dropped passes (Hedgecock, Hixon, Smith, etc.) whiffed tackles (Webster, Phillips, Tuck, etc.) and NO accounting for Brian Westbrook lost us the game... not the fact that Plax wasn't on the field. We made big mistakes in all facets of the game except turnovers... for really only the second time this season... and we lost. Hopefully this is a wake-up call to any Giants who were starting to feel a little too good about themselves and the team. On the other hand... we're 11-2. We just wrapped up the division. RELAX, Giants nation...
  9. Well... c'mon... it's Mike Brown. What has that guy EVER gotten right?
  10. Nothing... NOTHING... is as good for tarter removal and fresh breath.
  11. Haha thanks man. Seriously, this is pure genius.
  12. Yeah man, for some reason I'm really not worried. We have two new starting DEs, two new LBs... it just seems like whoever we replace is as good if not better than the last guy. If, say, Hixon went down... Toomer would get 120 a game with a TD, Smith would chip in with six catches for 70, and Moss would have two for sixty... and Kevin Boss would get another sixty.
  13. I'm in. Holy shit, this is so much fun we should do this every week.
  14. Shoulda benched Portis and Turner and started LJ and Slaton. But I STILL won in both my leagues and have TWO byes this week!
  15. Mike Bloomberg LOVES the Jets. :brooding:
  16. You know what ELSE no one is talking about? Turkey sammiches. I mean, really, how many of us were chowing down on a delicious fresh turkey sammich while we were watching the game this weekend? Mine had stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce on it, and it was FANTASTIC! What about the turkey sammiches? This is the kind of thing that I'll take to my neighbors and be like, "Look at this! Look at this bull! You may have made a nice spread for the game but you don't even recognize what is obvious to us all! Turkey Sammiches are THE THING TO EAT after Thanksgiving and you've SHUT THEM DOWN!!!"
  17. I hope they can keep Spags too but realistically... he'll be gone next year. The guy is on fire.
  18. You can clearly see the markers on the side replay, and Eli is about a foot beyond them.
  19. Dude, Eli's knees never went down. It should be a fucking first down.
