I just wrote the same thing over on VG's Facebook page (insert 'you should have told him to his face' joke here). Gilbride and especially Sheridan have to go. They stocked the cupboard for Sheridan and the guy can't fucking deliver a game plan where the offense doesn't hang 24 on us?

The D-line has been exposed for what it is... overrated. I said we overpaid for Canty back in August... sometimes I hate being right. Tuck is hurt and Osi (for all his gasket-blowing on the sidelines) still hasn't learned a second pass rush move in year seven. Robbins looks like he won't recover from his injury, and Coefield... is he even still on the team? Kiwi may be a backup at this point in his career. These guys really miss Michael Strahan drawing double teams and giving them pointers. We're in some trouble.

Those were some interesting grammatical and spelling errors... but I can't argue with the guy's substance. Where is the D-line? Where is the million-dollar pass rush?

...and the crazy thing is that Spagnuolo made us into a top-ten D with mostly the same cast of characters... and we went out and SIGNED guys that were supposed to be upgrades to our SUPERBOWL D and Sheridan week in and week out puts out a steaming turd of a game plan. We HAVE to can that guy at the end of the season.... maybe we should have let him sit in the booth.

Yep. Don't know what the hell is wrong with him because he used to make those runs all the time, but the only thing I can think of is that he's afraid of getting hit running it up inside. How can someone just LOSE their vision like that? He's a 270 lb pussy.

Who should we root for in the playoffs? I'd root for the Saints but I hate Shockey. Man, I hope Pittsburgh makes it. At least I can root for my favorite AFC team.

We overpaid for Jacobs, Canty, Bernard, and our O-line has pretty clearly lost a step as a unit. Corey Webster is playing like the Corey Webster of two years ago... the rest of the guys are either hurt or are just talentless (C.C. Brown). Offensive and Defensive game plans BOTH stink. Tuck and Osi are both underperforming. Chase Blackburn sucks. To lose to a team like this is just embarassing. Our season is over.

If anyone thinks we're getting more than two wins the rest of the way, please pass what you're smoking. This team flat-out SUCKS.

It could easily go either way. Denver seems to be melting down, and Brandon Marshall is starting to look like... well... Brandon Marshall on the sidelines (didn't he just punch Moreno last week?) Our run D sucks, rest assured... but our pass D does too. Our D just flat-out blows. Their D is actually good. They have two really good corners, and I'm not sure our WRs will stack up against them. Boss is the key... if he doesn't come through for us, we're toast. A banged-up Jacobs and Danny Ware doesn't make me feel very good about this game. I think Denver wins a squeaker. 20-17. However, I think Chase Blackburn will have 30 tackles and 15 sacks.

joe saw the same team I did yesterday. Now that being said, the rest of our games are all winnable. Fuck Minnesota... Brett Favre will start playing like Brett Favre any day now and their season goes in the tank... plus, whoever's the "better" team always LOSES historically in NYG/Vikes matchups.
