  1. Mickeef has been MIA ever since his assertion that Arod and all the Yankees were cheaters and noone on his beloved Red Sox teams ever had the passing thought of using steroids. Of course the unfortunate Manny and Ortiz revelations were made and Mickeef did a magic disappearing act. After the Arod admission, this baseball year for him went south pretty quickly. One can almost understand him running away like a coward. Of course if I had no balls, I would have done the same myself. Fortunately I do and therefore not running away has made watching arod come up clutch time and time again and bring home #27 all the sweeter.
  2. Perhaps if the Giants don't waste all that money on Zito, they could have gotten some decent players to help them at least make the playoffs. Seems like you should direct your bitterness towards your favorite team's ownership and their inability to make smart decisions with thier money. Yankee fans can relate. Nobody had a problem when they'd spend poorly and lose. Suddenly they invest wisely and the Payroll issue is a huge concern again. I love it.
  3. LOL. This kind of whining is music to my Yankee fan ears. Please continue. Bitter Payroll whining means the Yankees are champions again. P.S. I sure hope you were equally as whiny with the Red Sox in 2004 and 2007. I don't like the thought of someone who isn't fair in their bitching and whining.
  4. either Badegg and the Italian dog are the same pathetic poster using 2 different accounts or the Italian dog has a love obsession with bad Egg and follows him around everywhere. Either way it's sad.
  5. regardless of coincidence or not, we went on a superbowl run after he went down. I wouldn't change a thing. Even if he has a good game against the Giants, there is nothing he can do to top what we did without him unless he goes to an AFC team and beats us in the superbowl when we are about to go undefeated for the season. Good luck with that one Jeremy.
  6. Moss would make an excellent "wave at possible rescue planes in the sky" for a group of people deserted on a remote desert island. edit: just noticed it was already mentioned in the first post. But it goes to show that it is the perfect occupation for Moss.
  7. I agreed with you and it was the second post in the thread. HELLO OVER HERE!!!! *Waves hands frantically*
  8. If it makes you feel any better, Boss gets about 8 to 10 receptions a game when I use the Giants in Madden 10. I agree with everything you said. I was wondering the same thing myself as Gilbride was calling a toss out to bradshaw in the redzone when it was obvious to everyone but him that the Cowboys were stacking the box and bringing in the heat.
  9. Actually we dominated even though the score doesn't show that. You lose.
  10. As long as we have an offensive coordinator who thinks it's a good idea to run a hb sweep right on 3 and 1 when we just had a hb sweep left stuffed on 2nd down which played into the only strength of the opposing team that day, expect more of the same the rest of the season.
  11. At least they try to be a bit more clever with their trolling.
  12. Luckily, his understudy Big Papi was able to step into the role to play and look the part very convincingly.
  13. You should be excited!! In two years, Jerry Jones will be clamoring to sign this guy. He loves convicted criminals and Plax is a guy that will fit right into the legacy of the Cowboys. It's a bummer that jerry missed out on Vick but I can guarantee he'll try twice as hard to get Plax because of that!
  14. Just wanted to say that this post is full of win.
  15. Here's a timely article to help them get over their denial. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/31/sports/baseball/31doping.html?_r=2&ref=sports
  16. If by tainted, you mean "people on the team were using steriods" then yes they were. I'm pretty sure the 96 team can be included as well. The same would be true if any other team won the world series those years and is also true of every other team that won the world series in that era. The difference is that some like to make the claim that their teams are completely clean and some of us are trying to educate them on the reality of the steroids problem. BTW, nice sig
  17. If this new rumored steriod user list is true then you can add the following to the list: David Ortiz Pedro Martinez Derek Lowe Trot Nixon Nomar Garciaparra Johnny Damon Shea Hillenbrand
  18. Manny before Ortiz? I'm shocked!
  19. I was very disappointed when Plax shot himself and ruined the Giants chances to repeat this year. The more I hear about his issues, the more that disappointment turns to relief that he was able to keep his crap together enough to get us the one championship. So thanks for that Plax....have a nice life.
  20. Not too happy about this. TO was a cancer on that team and I loved watching the meltdowns he brought with him.
  21. Not surprised to see mickeef in this thread sharing his opinion on his favorite player that plays for his favorite team.
  22. while I'm appreciative for what Ward did...I'm even more excited to see Bradshaw get some more playing time.
