  1. He's a 2nd round pick, so doesn't get a year 5 option. But yeah, he's not a guy we can rely on. Needs to be replaced.
  2. They got Dell #68th overall in the 3rd, but I'm with you in that maybe 3rd round or later is about as high as you go for these types of players, unless they put up Jaylen Waddle or Tyreke Hill type speed numbers and proven durability in college.
  3. Also Ernie Arcosi: Kareem McKenzie, Shaun O'Hara, plus nailed it on Chris Snee and Deihl. Even Petitgout was decent for awhile.
  4. Yes but somehow the Dolphins pull off fielding 5'10 smallish WRs. Zay Flowers, Josh Downs, and Marquis Brown are good too.
  5. Edit; nm I take it back they all suck.
  6. I suppose Robinson is like every other receiver on this team, which is "I like him as a #3 WR, lol"
  7. Also, can I just remind everyone that McKinney sucks and shouldn't be on the roster next year either? He's supposed to be over the top on Tyreke Hill here, but instead comes up too many steps, and gets caught looking into the backfield. This is less on Hawkins than it is on McKinney (Hawkins can't be expected to run full on with Hill).
  8. I'm not saying he can't be salvaged or cant develop, but we can't rely on him to be a starter next season at this rate. We'd have to plan on others being starters at RT and G. If he outcompetes them, then great.
  9. I have to believe it's not just the coaching too. It's the scouting. Look at 2022. Tyler Smith over on Dallas is an absolute stud on the OL. Charles Cross when healthy has at least been okay (avg starter), and looks like he's developing at least. Also, Tyler Lindenbaum, Zion Johnson etc. We somehow fucking whiffed that badly on Neal. Let's also not act like RT for Neal is an experiment. He played there for a full season at Alabama in 2020, and you had some draft analysts saying he might be better at RT and RG because he doesn't move as well as might be needed for LT at this level.
  10. Robinson at WR as well. We're just not utilizing him properly because our QBs have no time
  11. That's fine, but again, two FA OL starters are needed in support, plus at least one OL draft pick in rounds 2-3 (and/or trade or trade up)....plus three backups, especially considering Bredeson and Peart are free agents, and I'm assuming we cut Glowinski to save $6M and invest in someone else. The OL needs an overhaul either way.
  12. Welp, this was always the risk with Jones. We knew he was injury prone when we signed him (similarly with Barkley as well). One would think if we just signed a QB to a massive contract, that we'd try to put a capable OL around him, but again...guess we had to have Leonard Williams, Darren Waller, and Barkley instead...cause those guys are really driving success on this team LOL. Honestly injured or not, just roll with Tyrod Taylor the rest of the way. With the current OL we have, we're doing to get Jones killed and injured worse. The season is a botched and lost cause anyway. Why play Jones just to see him running for his life and getting pounded on 90% of drop backs? This can only hurt him.
  13. Actually, I think you're right. I now recall, Caroline with a journeyman Andy Dalton put up 27 pts versus the Seahawks, while we couldn't manage 3. Their offense at least has 4 TD's the last two games, which is 4 more than ours, lol.
  14. I'm not sure why Neal and Ezeudu need coaching to tell them to put their hands on the defender... or to at least try to stand in the way of the defender. I think they just suck. Also look at the Center (Bredeson is it?) duck and lunge, and get beat right away. That's another play on this that's a disaster. Credit to McKethan; he did everything he could possibly do, and nearly blocked two guys at once. Also fucking Glowinski on the left side didn't see the stunt coming, and he didn't touch the guy. Jesus fucking christ they are pathetic. I think these guys just suck and aren't seeing who they need to block.
  15. By the way, outside Carolina, I think we're the worst team in the league. The point differential for the giants is the worst in the league. If you remove the 3rd and 4th quarter vs the Cardinals, it becomes pathetic, and they haven't scored an offensive TD in the last 10 quarters. At least Carolina has the excuse of trying to groom a rookie QB (who looks bad so far, and looks like he needs time to develop). At least they're in a rebuild. We just signed a QB to $160M, but in terms of allocating the rest decided to bring in Waller at $52M, plus insisted on keeping a $32M Williams and $11M Barkley on the roster, instead of investing in an offensive line. A lot of people want to blame OL injuries, but Bredeson, Glowinski, and Neal have been playing like shit, and they were relied on to be our day 1 starters.
  16. Oh yes, I just mean two FA lineman need to be guys that are actually capable of starting in this league, not the Bredeson or Glowinski's of the world. Guys we can insert at LG and RG or RT. As far as the rest of FA, additional lineman are needed for quality depth, and definitely supplemented in the draft as well; At least one lineman in the top 3 rounds, and frankly I wouldn't mind if we drafted two in the top 3 rounds, including with our inevitable top 10 pick. Basically plan as if we need to fill 3 starting OL positions and 3 backup OL positions on top of that, and force Neal to have to compete for a starting spot (or make him a backup).
  17. Sign two free agent lineman, ideally a G and RT, then draft the guy. Neal can compete for one of the spots too, otherwise he's a backup/Swing tackle. Getting the two free agent lineman should be the priority over drafting OL. We have enough OL draft picks on the roster.
  18. Remember, we really needed Leonard Williams and Barkley on this team. Two FA guards were deprioitized over them.
  19. We somehow managed to put together an OL worse than Nate Soldier, Matt Skura, Billy Price, and Will Hernandez.
  20. Gano remains the best scoring player on this team, the last 2 1/2 games.
  21. Somehow this is only a one score game. Pinnock and Kayvon to thank for that.
  22. And our $51M players at that. Only passes these guys are catching are when the DB is playing off and soft by like 12 yards
  23. Gano is the highest scoring Giants player of the last 8 quarters.
