  1. So by this logic Eli Manning to you looked like Ryan Leaf coming out of college. Good to know.
  2. How so? Second best QB in the draft behind Luck. Sounds like a kid with his head on straight, son of two military parents. The 'Skins are getting a franchise QB by all accounts. The one thing I find scary about him is watching him throw he at least looks to be pretty accurate and likes to pass first but he has the legs of Vick.
  3. Peyton aint going to the 'Skins but he certainly aint with the Colts either. Good move, give that RG2 1/4 a possession WR to throw too.
  4. I think the hope is to keep the pieces around Eli for the next four-five years before he retires. Then go through a rebuild, Seems to be the normal for any team with a franchise QB.
  5. Manningham leaves in FA. Giants sign T.O. Leads the team in red zone TDs.
  6. Giants fans in general have never had a history of letting anything go.
  7. Funny same thing could of been said about the Eli trade.
  8. I dont include fan base in my respect for the team.
  9. I hope he is a pretty decent QB actually. Would be nice to have another NFC East rivalry going on between to good teams, instead of the late season cluster fuck that has been happening the last few seasons. Plus out of 'Skins, Eagles and 'Boys, I kinda respect the Redskins the most.
  10. The Redskins draft second now. They gave their 1st (6th overall) this year and two more first round picks and a second as well.
  11. You could say the same thing about when we drafted Eli. Well expect for the three 1sts part. The Redskins obviously think they got a franchise QB, much like the Giants did when they went out and drafted Eli. I applaud the move, the franchise has been needing a QB since the 90s. If in 10 years RGKDJFUIR10202983 1/3 is lifting a Lombardi for the 'Skins then it will be worth it.
  12. On NFL network now. More info. http://www.sbnation.com/2012-nfl-free-agency/2012/3/9/2858091/brandon-jacobs-new-york-giants-free-agency
  13. Oh, he ONLY gets 9 million right now. Poor Eli.
  14. Inb4 the Raiders sign him to a 8 year 75 million dollar contract. They trade Palmer to Arizona for a 7th.
  15. The only problem is both the Skins and the Bills have pretty much entirely different coaching staffs, in the Skins case I think not a single coach/GM that was on the team with Williams is still there so the question is asked do you penalize the current coaching staff that had nothing to do with Williams?
  16. This is basically going to end in a shit storm. Either Williams is getting suspended or the Saints are losing alot of draft picks. Maybe both.
  17. So lets say during the Saints game one of their D-line took a shot at Eli's knee and knocked him out for the rest of the year. And instead of feeling sorry about it he got a nice little bonus because of it.
  18. Think I just heard on NFL network that the Redskins, WIlliams former DC job, had a bounty system in place as well. Who knows is this blows open we may be "moving up" two spots in the draft.
  19. Double post of the day. Dont know what it is about this new message board format but I been double posting like a boss.
  20. I like Thomas, he was a first round pick? I think for the Redskins that never panned out for the whole Zorn era they went through. Redskins fans that I talk with on another message board say he has all the talent in the world but could never put it together on the field.
  21. We would still be technically picking 32 in the draft, it's just the Saints would forfeit their pick in the first round so to speak. It's like what happened with the Pats and the whole camera thing.
  22. I think it was on NFL network that all the "experts" were saying that this years combine was pretty underwhelming across the board. Sure there were standouts like all years and I guess those two QBs Luck and RGSBRGSGSFDDF 12 and 3/4 were impressive but in terms of over all performance across all positions it wasnt as on par as previous years.
  23. I wouldnt be surprised if NFL players were giving an mandatory IQ test or a basic literacy test how many of them would score incredibly low. It's not hard to fail when your leading your college to whatever of the many stupid fucking college championships out there.
