gmenroc
In the easiest decision imaginable after the Eli being benched news came out, Jenkins is getting the ankle surgery and ending his season as speculated last week. Per ESPN.

Tempest
Vernon & Harrison should call out for the rest of the season as well. Evaluate everyone...
Sephiroth
I said it a few weeks back... get ready for a lot of guys going on IR as more and more "business decisions" are made on a sinking ship. I mean fuck... Richburg was put on IR for a fucking concussion he got in week 4. Unless you're a drooling vegetable, you don't go on IR for a concussion you got IN WEEK FOUR. This guy is not "the leader of the offensive line." I think Jones is a better option there.

Heard Shawn O'Hara on NFL Network yesterday, said Jones stepped in and played better than Richburg and has earned the starting job. Said Richburg has not developed as expected. But Richburg has zero control over going on the IR for the concussion. The doctors and the team make that call, based on the league guidelines. It gives the team some leverage negotiating with Richburg.
