Admin3
Final Preseason game. Giants 101 The New York Giants close out their preseason schedule tonight when the host the NE Patriots. Look for neither team to play it’s starters for more than a series or two, as health is paramount at this point. The Giants will look to play their rookies and backups extensively, as Couch Coughlin still needs to put the finishing touches on his special teams unit. Out for the game, due to injury are: WR Sinorice Moss (will he ever play?), C Shaun O’hara (knee), LT Luke Petitgout (back) G Rich Seubert (toe) and RB Derrick Ward (broken foot). All would play but Moss and Ward, had this been an official game. Returning to the field tonight will be LB Carlos Emmons, though his appearance may be limited. In any event, it’ll be nice to see Emmons on the field and healthy, for the most part. He’s been chomping at the bit to get in there for some time now, and the Giants surely need his presence on the field. Weather shouldn’t be an issue for tonight’s game. The game will be broadcast on NBC at 8pm EST. A win tonight would complete what’s been an impressive preseason so far, with the Giants currently at 3-0. September 10 is rapidly approaching, so start stocking up on beer and dogs, as it’s almost time for some real football! In what little we see out of the starters, let's hope there are no injuries and they play well.
