Xrays aren't always reliable, so there's always possibility of a mistake there. He'll probably have an MRI tommorrow. Keep your fingers crossed. The injury that happened to me a few years back was very similar in the way my leg was positioned but it was a knee that fell on it like a hammer. I guess with Kiwi it matters whether whatever landed on it was a soft tissue or not... something like the hard part of the shoulder pad and what not. It looked awful indeed.
