From the postgame press conference .... Q. Do you think you need to bring a veteran kicker in? TC. We will talk about that; we are going to analyze that further. I also read today that the #1 rated kicker in this year draft ...Crosby was it? might not make his team because of who ever the veteran kicker is I can remeber who picked him Ill have to go look again and tell you in a bit. Lughead Posted August 28, 2007 Share Posted August 28, 2007 If the Giants decide that neither Tynes nor Huston is good enough, there are several veteran kickers available: Mike Vanderjagt, Aaron Elling, Paul Edinger and John Carney. I'll find the other article also ahhhh here it is Tynes continues to shank kicks in practice and in games, and no one can be confident that Josh Huston will be consistent. John Hall is out there, and the Packers will have to cut either Mason Crosby or Dave Rayner. The kicker for this team doesn’t look to be on this roster.
