  1. I do not think there is anything he could do to be in the good graces of Giants fans after going to the Eagles. It is not like he won us a Superbowl or something to make him overall loved by Giants fans. I would not expect to see many 26 jerseys showing up in the Meadowlands next year. If he went somewhere benign like the Patriots, he would still be a popular Giant for life.
  2. Or jones comes in and throws for over 3000 yards and 15 TDs and Giants make a playoff run
  3. You guys should send me some of what you are smoking... https://stathead.com/tiny/rMChj Lock's best season of 2020 is worse than any Jones season outside of this past year shitfest. Lock has never played 17 games in a season and if he does for the Giants next year we will be picking in the top 2 so there will be a new QB in town for 2025.
  4. I cannot say I watched LSU games this year, but the one thing that Harrison has is he is 6'4". Not that automatically makes someone a better receiver, but as they say you can't teach size. I do wonder if if his name was not Harrison if he would be tagged as the can't miss WR in this draft. With how the Free Agency is going so far, I could line up behind the drafting Nabers with the 6th pick.
  5. Its a smart move... Jones might not be ready for week one and even if we waste our #6 pick on whichever leftover QB is there, someone has to get under center. Lock is someone, I guess
  6. He will have 3 good games a year as an Eagle... what sucks is that probably 2 of them will be against the Gmen
  7. Seems like a good spot to fill with a mid to late draft pick, imagine landing ourselves a Pacheco
  8. Hence you would bitch about it... like you do everything.
  9. Yeah you would be bitching that we paid him $2 million per touchdown last year
  10. I have spent 0 minutes looking at Packers Oline film... but from the Packers site, sounds like a solid player and the line needs all it can get Started 33 games over the past two seasons (22 at left guard, 11 at right guard), the most among Green Bay offensive linemen over that span. In his 33 career starts, has been penalized just one time (holding penalty vs. Minnesota in Week 17 last season). Had the fewest penalties among NFL offensive linemen that made 30-plus starts in 2021-22. Started all 17 games last season, opening 11 at RG and six at LG, and was part of a line that helped the Packers rank No. 7 in the NFL in sacks allowed (32). Appeared in all 17 games with 16 starts at LG in 2021, one of only two Green Bay offensive linemen (G/T Royce Newman) to start 16-plus games that season. Played in all 16 contests in 2020, the only Green Bay rookie to appear in every game, seeing time at both guard spots. Earned first-team All-Big Ten honors from the conference's coaches as both a junior and a senior, also taking home first-team recognition from the media as a senior in 2019. Appeared in 32 career games with 25 starts for the Wolverines, opening 24 contests at left tackle and one at right tackle.
  11. Im not the root for an injury guy... but when he blows out his knee by week 6 I will be glad
  12. or if you feel like you are freezing a limb off... head inside to warm up, or back to your car and go home.
  13. That is the bonus of landing him, will be under $2 million a season since the Broncos are on the hook for his contract. The question will be which team does he want to go play for. Would he want to come in to "compete" with Jones for a starting spot? Would DeVito stay with the team and see if he can develop into a potential starter in 2 seasons when Wilson is gone or would the team draft a QB to be the eventual guy.
  14. Sadly I do not think the Giants would be able to get him to sign with us, at least the Sportsbooks do not think so Draft Kings Sportsbook released odds for the other 31 NFL teams to be Wilson's next team and one team is a big favorite: The Pittsburgh Steelers. The team is given -200 odds to land Wilson. The Las Vegas Raiders are next, at +275, with the Atlanta Falcons third at +400. The New England Patriots come in at +750 to round out the Top 5. Here are every team's chances (besides the Broncos) to sign Wilson, according to the sportsbook: Steelers: −200 Raiders: +275 Falcons:+400 Patriots: +750 Vikings: +1000 Commanders: +2000 Buccaneers: +2000 Titans: +3000 Giants: +3000 Bears: +4000 Panthers: +4000 Saints: +5000 Seahawks: +6000 Jets: +7500 Colts: +10000 Lions: +10000 Cardinals: +10000 Dolphins: +10000 Rams: +10000 Chargers: +10000 Ravens: +15000 49ers: +15000 Eagles: +15000 Browns: +20000 Jaguars: +25000 Cowboys: +25000 Chiefs: +30000 Texans: +30000 Packers: +30000 Bengals: +30000 Bills: +30000
  15. Go get Russel Wilson on the cheap!!!!
  16. If the Giants tagged him it would be for $12 million for next season, it will be interesting if he gets more than that from another team, or if someone hits him with a 4-5 year deal
  17. Especially if we are looking to have one of these rookies starting week one at QB, most likely we will be selecting in the top 10 again next year.
  18. The team needs a Veteran Backup/Starter (Mayfield/Minshew) this season... Keep Tommy Cutlets as the 3rd QB. When Jones is healthy he's the #1. When he gets hurt again the team will have that Vet to step up be the starter, keeping everyone's favorite Italian one injury away from making a superbowl run!
  19. Senga with Arm Fatigue... they can't be going full Met at the START of spring training
  20. There are only so many Patrick Mahomes walking the earth, but I agree. The number one way to win in the NFL is to have a healthy team and the close second is to have a top tier QB. Even in this game, if Greenlaw doesn't blow his Achilles in the second qtr I think the game might end differently
  21. Just having him on staff will help recruit defensive players from across the country
  22. He is one hell of a player, that is for sure
