  1. Only for New England and the 90's 49ers.
  2. I think Itailian Dog said "it really wouldn't be remembered IF the Giants pulled it off" But I tell you what, IF they do I will never forget it. I want New England to lose SO bad I can taste it.....
  3. I hope the Patriots lose in the FIRST RD of the Playoffs. Fuck them!!!! Fuck - - - the whole media (and the refs) riding on Patriot dick. Moss is a dick. And I am shocked that they even flagged him for the celebration. Better yet, stop the clock and award the Pats the record ball.... TOUCHDOWN !!!!!!!!! YES!
  4. Set up for the Pats to win....a ticky tack call.
  5. I just saw holding on the punt (NE) and no flag. Isn't tugging on a jersey holding anymore?
  6. What I hope happens is Osi and Tuck can have a 'meeting at the QB". One cracks his ribs, the other bangs his throwing hand. See if those Pats win a Superbowl without him!
  7. 3 points....we got ourselves a GAME!!! (Is it just me....or do you hope that the Giants knock Brady silly?)
  8. Commentators: You know New England hasn't given up a red zone td in 9 possesions. And they are allowing so few points...
  9. Playbook must've been snatched from Kevin. Eli rolls out? Eli completes a bomb on the first pass????
  10. Hallelujah! And the Giants have three good RBs, an O line built for run blocking AND decent defense.... ....Eli truly needs to get up to the line, run the play and keep the 'flow' of the game steady. That burning TWO timeouts back to back shit has got to stop, ELI!!!
  11. Sometimes that shows when he takes that play clock all the way down to :02 seconds and "omaha-ing" all over the place JUST to hand off to Droghns???? I guess you call that 'pre reading' defenses? Or setting up blocking assignments? Anyway, when are we gonna see Eli actually STEP into a throw instead of chucking up a duck? And it's been four years and Eli is still good for that pass off of a linemans helmet. You're a PRO QB...find a throwing lane and throw the ball with velocity. Why all of the tentativeness? You could be right....maybe it's too much for him to be a NYG QB????
  12. I've been saying this for weeks....the Giants won 10 games in spite of Eli. I don't want a John Elway-esque QB but can we get some production out of the #1 pick (plus the price they paid for him?)?
  13. Hey? I don't like your tone, young man!
  14. Now if the Patriots have so much depth, isn't it fair to say that they could rest key guys i.e. Brady, Moss, Harrison and Welker and STILL beat the Giants...go 16-0...and then go into the playoffs healthy? My thing is they are making such a big whoop about the Giants team wanting to play starters....but BOTH teams seem to be taking the field with starters. Now another thought here is IF Brady got hurt vs the Giants and was to miss the rest of the playoffs...could the Pats go all the way without him? No one in the media brings that up. It seems like the media (and some fans) want the Pats to have the full starters out there as to insure the "perfect" season.
  15. You must have forgotten about Ray Handley.
  16. But when I discuss football with other diehards i.e. 49er fans.....I let 'em know that IT was THE STEELERS that stopped your undefeated run in 1984. And when those former Dolphin players and the one 'coach' talks football I am sure they DO remember the Bears getting beat by the '85 Dolphins. I'm almost willing to bet that some of those Hall of Famer Dolphins were at the game whe the Bears lost. But Dog??? Can you agree on one thing that as a team, why should you want to go into a game with the mindset of "Oh well we can lose this one but come playoff time we'll turn it on!" I know that any regular season game is'nt a Superbowl and IT was dumb for some of those Raven players to even say that. But the sweet thing about football...every regular season game counts. Especially if you are trying to gain momentum, get a playoff spot, or establish a winning tradition. Now ask yourself why are the Patriots appraching this game as them almost needing to win. Playing their starters in a meaninless game can be thought of as: 1. "Hey we want 16-0 to establish momentum, crush the opponent, and let the league know we are REAL" or they can say 2. "Ahhh, who cares about this game, we can turn on our 'switch' in the playoffs and win the BIG one anyway". I think they are going with option 1. So if the league doesn't care, fans don't care, or we shouldn't care what happens in this game...why aren't the Patriots approaching this last game with "intelligence" and just playing it out...? Why? Because Bill and the team WANT TO GO undefeated. But at what "intelligent" cost? Risking injury to a Rodney Harrison? Risking a ankle sprain to Moss? Risking an injury to Tom's throwing hand? Who knows?
  17. All because the topic has turned from a ridiculous notion that Warner woulda led this team to a Superbowl to Eli's struggles....of late. If the subject would have stayed 'on course', this thread would be on page two by now.
  18. I understand. But these doods are PRO's or these doods were raised all their lives to be QBs. Every level that a young QB "promotes" to, his game MUST improve at the next level. So I can say "Eli sucks" at times because his mechanics aren't the best and he hasn't really improved. It's possible that he has regressed. So what I am saying is he shouldn't be doing the same shit he did in college and each year in the NFL, he should be improvng on reads, accuracy, check down passes, pocket awareness.... Eli should feel the rush better and learn to take off sometimes. Instead of holding the ball and trying to 'pass' as his arm is being hit. That is so common with him, getting hit and losing the ball while tryna throw. Or snap exchange! 5 bad snaps???? In one game? Center/QB exchange at the PRO level should never be that sloppy. Once I could see, but 5 times???? I mean comon! Whatever happen to...during the pregame warmup...Eli and the Center getting reps in?
  19. If the Giants were to beat the Patriots (let's say the final score was 24-20 NYG), would THAT be considered the biggest upset in the history of the NFL?? We all know the Patriots will be out there with starters and Bill Bella-Dick wants the 16-0 perfect season. IMO if the Giants do win...it would be up there in upsets.
  20. I knew that... I was tryna help him out by giving him something to say besides "Dude, Eli sucks!" Again, Eli is Eli...I've come to grips with that. But to say Warner would be better here???? Now Warner wasn't shit here in NYC and Warner wasn't young or healthy....why keep him here?
  21. So who threw the TDs to Plax? **Burress back to pass.....Burress goes deep...TOUCHDOWN, Burress to Burress** ...the last point isn't a valid point to say Eli sucks. Let me help out here. For example, to say Eli sucks, you should say: Eli sucks because he throws too much into triple coverage, his red zone passing accuracy is terrible, or he 'hones' in on one reciever therfore the safety can adjust for the INT, or Eli has been known to throw off the wrong foot.... (By the way Warner has those same problems. AND he's on a losing team. Warner sucked for NY because he held on to the ball too long.....)
  22. Eli is average. And not accurate with his throws. So why the heck would you have him throw 27 times a game IF you have three good RBs? I mean as a coach in this league, you have to utilize the talent and put the TEAM in position to win!!! Not have a QB chuck up passes and he's not that accurate. Go to the shorter passing game, use play action, get the play off quicker and MOST of all,,,,,RUN THE FUCKING BALL!!
  23. They should let go of Tony Corn-hole-er and just have 2 in the booth. Jaws is cool...Tirico is cool. Tony is corny and I just don't get his shit.
