If you watched the two "America's Game" on he Giants...one thing...in both seasons becomes apparent....they seem to be adversity junkies....they dig being shit on and counted out..they play harder....when they aren't discounted, when they are given respect...they appear to get that vibe that they can win just by tossing their jocks on the field. The line will come together....the secondary will straighten out....and they will be over 500 by December...and if they are healthy....they will go on another run...if they aren't.... then they will either collapse outright These guys are pretty predictable. Maybe saying "Very servicable" was a bit of an overstatement...guy had a good couple of years and then as Jackn noted his knees went. Didn't remember they passed on both Sayers and Butkus to get him....damn. C. Wagon.

He also had Joe Morrison who was as clutch as they came, Homer Jones, Del Shoufner and a very servicable Tucker Fredrickson.....given their line was so undersized..but athletic.....his scrabbling was a perfect fit....he took them from 1 and 13 to 7 -7 his first year....I tend to remember their issues being mostly on the defensive side of the ball. They put up some good points total...they just tended to give it all back and then some on defense. For the life of me I don't know what they were thinking when they traded him back to the Vikings....whatever they got...it wasn't near enough. C. Wagon

Fran Tarkington Prince...a HOF....played for the Giants in the Mid to late 60s.... and got traded back to the Vikings..... I'd have to rate the Giants QB's....top ten like this. 1. Eli Manning 2. Y. A Tittle. 3. Phil Simms 4. Charlie Conerly 5. Fran Tarkington (on GOD awful teams) 6. Kerry Collins 7. Jeff Hosteler 8. Norm Snead (had a good couple of years) 9. Scott Brunner 10. This. Its a whole new game now...plus #11 couldn't stay on the field...very injury prone. Hos did what Simms could do with that team when Simms went down...I dont 'know of anybody that could do what Eili did last winter with the team he had...on the road......if he had gone down...Eil's road playoff record....is fucking crazy. Unfortunately that's no shit Tree...but its a bitch to keep weight on with it. If it clears the system that quckly...and he got busted in March......why would he be taking it after the season?
