  1. You don't think I thought about our practice squad Fish?. Dammit, they are called the Philadelphia Eagles. I BE KEEPING IT REAL.
  2. I think the Giants will go 19-0. SI is way off on this one. I don't see anyone out there that can beat us. In fact the rumor is that the NFL will hire some henchman to attack our players in the tunnel and it still won't stop us. They also are thinking of adding more games to our schedule, just to see if they can increase the chance of us losing a game. The plot is being funded by members of the 1973 Miami Dolphins. It won't work.We are unstoppable, with a coach such as Tom Coughlin, who by the end of the season will have his name changed by deed poll to "GOD" and will sign a lifetime contract. Eli will not have a pro bowl season, he'll have an MVP season with an unprecedented 100% completion rate. All 22 starters will be voted to the pro bowl, who will then expand the rosters to include the rest of the Giants roster because they are just that good. Will Demps will lead the league not only in tackles, but in tackles behind the line of scrimmage, and also in having threesomes, because he's just that fucking hot. Lawrence Tynes will not miss a field goal, because we never have to make field goals!!! Feagles will be so good that in midseason, he's kicking them over his head just for fun. Shockey will have people saying "antonio who?". Plaxico will never throw his arms up because Eli hits him everytime and become a huge fan favorite. The league will pass down a new rule in midseason saying that Jacobs has to have both legs tied together because he is so fucking powerful and can't keep count of all his yards. Strahan/Osi/Tuck and Kiwi will make a rule to take turns sacking the quarterback and by the end of the season, they will all share the new sack record of 120 each, and Deacon Jones will stop bitching finally. Tiki will lose his radio show and his NBC contract due to being "useless", and will forced to return to Virginia to host his own public access tv show, which will have one viewer named VG. The Giants domination will sadden Jerry Jones so much that he will have to have plastic surgery to remove his frown lines, after which Hollywood will call him to play the Joker in the next Batman movie. He will sell the team to Mark Cuban, who will move them into his own league next year. Zak DeOssie will blow your mind.............hell Chase Blackburn will blow your mind!!!! Before the beginning of next season, Peter King will pick his top 500 players and picks 1 to 53 will be all New York Giants!!! That my prediction.I think it's pretty accurate
  3. Cowher would be the one I want, but like someone said there if Jeff Fisher was to be had, I'd definitely take him. I'm a big Fisher fan.
  4. VISIT MY WEBSITE This is as relevant??????
  5. Guys, download TVANTS from the mypsp site Lughead linked. Then go into the NFL forum and one kid in there has a url for it. Takes less than 5 minutes. Always check the forums on that site.
  6. They are fine, Costas makes most people look better.
  7. SNF should be Collinsworth and Costas and that's all.
  8. I wouldn't say he'll be gone too quickly, it took how long to boot Theisman?
  9. Well if you think about it, nobody is exactly asking him about other teams now. Since the Coughlin circus came to town, most of the media are desperate to get the inside scoop in the locker room. Tiki gives it to them. At half time of the game last week, Costas and Collinsworth came right out and asked him about Eli. Fact is that Tiki is actually pretty poor on TV, as I witnessed when he was on Leno a while back, so if you are going to protect his persona, you better ask him shit he knows or is willing to talk about.
  10. Tree/ Bigblue, I'm not trying to offend anyone and if I did I apologize. Everything is cool. I respect you guys.
  11. I understand we have a guy now who has the ability to be the best QB we ever had. I'll just agree to disagree with you on Simms.
  12. Who gives a shit if he's beaten Phil's stats twice or twenty friggin times. Jay, here's the stats that count in football. Wins and losses, and points scored/against. nothing else. If you ask fans that have supported this team in the last 20-25 years and were asked who they could choose between Eli and Simms based on what Eli has done right now, most would pick Simms. Simms was a tough son of a bitch, and had a winning mentalty and played for Parcells when parcells was actually a coach and not a rent a coach. Guy had the biggest game of his career when they needed it the most. To say that if it wasn't for the defense, most would not know who Simms was, frankly pisses all over Simms career, you can't just make it better by then saying you have nothing but love for the guy in the next sentence. And seriously Jay, as much as I think Eli has the tools to get to a higher level, there are other factors that have lead to the fact he hasn't gotten there. He actually has to improve quite a bit to get to be a very good QB. His accuracy has not been good, he doesn't go through his progressions fast enough and he's made some bad decisions at crucial times. These are all fixable, and if he does he can get a lot better very fast. Nothing would make me happier if Eli stepped up and became the man, looked into the TV camera and said "happy now, Boohyah??". All I want is for this team to win.
  13. You're right Nem, but when Rodney was shut down, so were the Giants. At least we have better options now.
  14. Not it's not, I've made about 5 others better than this.
  15. The post was to highlight professionalism, nothing else. Not his rushing average or anything else. Nobody is disrespecting Jacobs or saying Tiki wasn't a better running back. Rodney hampton on being asked how he thought Giants fans would react to his return from injury. "who's that?".
  16. Egg, I think I can honestly say that including myself, the majority of Giant fans feel Eli can be a top QB. No-one can deny that there are times when Eli shows he has talent, but it's too sporadic obviously and he has to put it altogether. But all kidding aside, we think he can be the man. If he got to the level of Phil Simms for example, we'd be happy. As for soap opera, no offense, but there wasn't a bigger soap opera in football last year than Romo. And honestly he's a decent QB, but nothing special and his pro bowl selection to me was ridiculous. I mean Egg, as I said before, if Bledsoe had to step up his game just a little for the rest of the season, then Romo never gets on the field. I just find it hard to understand all the hype all of a sudden behind a guy who took 4 years to get the job, and only got it cause they ran out of options.
  17. Perhaps it's time to Recognize the original # 27. Cause Rodney did it the right way, shut your mouth and play, no fumbling issues early in his career. Hit the line like you wanna kill someone, and then when you're day is done, retire gracefully and shut the fuck up.
  18. You make it sound like I don't usually say things well. Don't listen to that bastard Blunatic, I'm very well spoken.
  19. Let's examine: Most "Cowboy fans", are fans when the team is over .500. When they are not, those same fans turn to Rodeo. That could never be said about Giants fans, who stick with the team through all sorts of adversity. Guys like Fish and Charlie has at through the 70's and are still here. Some of us are lucky enough to have the pleasure of having Ray Handley as our coach. We stick it out. Cowboys fans can't say this, when the Cowboys suck, Texas Stadium is a morgue. Now let's take point number 2. The Giants have to deal with distractions, nonsense and frustration, we assume you imply that we cannot be successful. That's an interesting theory coming from a Cowboy fan, who during the era of winning 3 Superbowls had to deal with. - An owner wanting to interfere with his team so much that he drove a wedge between himself and his 2 trophy winning coach, so bad the coach left. - Then hiring a lame duck coach whose biggest claim was the yell and make obscure comments to the media and was such a dope that his own QB didn't want to deal with him. - Dealt with the antics of Michael Irvin and his fur coat wearing soirees into the finest crackhouses in Texas, when all along he could have been scoring from .......... - Nate Newton.....nuff said. - Signed Deion Sanders because Deion was a very quiet reserved guy who never attracted attention. - And was that center who openly campaigned about the good in smoking pot. shall I go on. My point is B. Egg, is that for all these distractions you keep bellowing about, it's your own team the shows that this theory of yours carries little weight, as the most successful period in Cowboys history contained some of the most self serving, self promoting, egotisitical assholes ever. So for all of the yapping the Giants are doing now amongst themselves now, fact is it's overated, and has little or nothing to do with performance. Not one word off the field has ever gained a yard on it. As for yourself, I don't think you're so bad. I think you think it's cool to keep this badgering, when in fact I think when you want to be, your pretty rational.
  20. I think Fox Sports also said that Jerome Bettis was from Detroit, which is where the Superbowl was played. Fox Sports: "We'll be different, let's put robots playing football in the opening credits...............coooool".
  21. I give some credit to Eli on this. He was absolutely right to respond to this because Tiki did make him seem like a fool here. He deserved a right to respond. However, he's wrong about "Tiki's heart". For the umpteenth time I say this, Tiki Barber may have announced his retirement during the season, but the fact that it was a distraction to the extent that it affected the team like they are saying is total bullshit. Tiki played his ass off, when he could have just as easily said fuck it. After the Skins game when the Giants needed the win to get into the playoffs, Tiki simply dragged them into it. Questioning his heart by anyone but Tiki, is simply ridiculous. Now, before I'm told I'm on the Tiki bandwagon here, the only thing I can say about his performances on TV so far is that he is extremely unprepared to be on live TV. Yes, Tiki's lips are way too loose, but some of the things coming from his mouth seemed forced and panicked. I think NBC is showing him up and exposing him for his lack of experience. a couple of weeks ago, Tiki was on Leno, and I thought he was simply awful, like he was trying to hard to be an entertainer but he was still an athlete and being treated like one. Anyway, with the way Tiki is going on in his next chapter, he looks more and more like the fool he's trying to paint some of his former mates. he's going to come out of this looking real bad.
  22. Um...........speaking of quarterbacks with fumbling issues.
  23. I don't think we needed to ask Tiki about Eli's leadership skills. It's pretty obvious the last 3 years he's had little. Oh hold on, NBC had to ask Tiki.
  24. You seriously think you have a coach don't you. I mean that alone is laughable. Nobody is high on Coughlin, but only the Cowboys could seriously have thought that Wade Phillips was the coach to get. He was so far off every other teams radar it's not funny.
