Yeah, I havent heard anything about a franchise tag on Briggs. Well, it seems they are clearing room for someone, I wouldnt mind Asante Samuel, but what are thier plans for LB if thats so? I dont know about you guys, but I like Blackburn out there.

Im sure Tiki said some of those things, and the media just took what they wanted and blew it outta porportion. He's said it was taking a toll on him all along, but they make it sound like it was solely TC driving him to the ground. More media bullshit.

The only thing Tiki did wrong, was announce his retirement DURING the season. But then again, he's been talking like this for a couple of years, so we knew. He's been nothing but a professional, and dont forget, Strahan brought up money bullshit at the wrong time when he and Tiki got into it, and we all hated him for it. Tiki was a leader, maybe mostly w/ his play as opposed to his mouth, but he led, thats for sure.

This is the only way I'd agree with this post. True, BJ is the man now, and honestly, I think will do fine. But if we could get another good RB to split time at a decent price, such as Dominic, Id be all for it. But the pressing needs are a shutdown corner and some LB help. No doubt.

I knida like the idea of getting Samuel or Clements, (preferrably Samuel) and draft good. Briggs is awesome, but like previously stated, he might just be a product of that D.

Not only would drafting a QB be senseless, but a big waste of money. I know Eli is pissin us off, but he had tons of hype come w/ him. This is just about teh time Peyton started killin it, Aikman and Elway too, about 3 yrs into thier career. He'll be fine, w. the right coaching.

Exactly, people like to say Simms was average at best, but he still holds the SB record for pass completions,(22 of 25, 88%) and like you said, threw for 400+ w/ NO NAME receivers. The org. from top to bottom then, was elite.

I've been a Giant fan all my life, I bleed blue. But that was about the time I was turned into a diehard Giant fan. I was about 15 when that SB occured, a very impressionable age. That Defense, along with Bavaro, Simms and Little Joe Morris, hooked me for life. That was one of the top 3 D's Ive seen in my lifetime.

I've been sayin this for awhile, go after Asante Smauel. He's a great cover corner and young. Thats what we need 1st and foremost, a shut down corner.

I agree with this, we missed amani greatly. Our offense was pretty predictable. :brooding:

I thought he was good on run D, only 1 sack, but he's a LB who doesnt start. I guess we just believe the potential is there.
