yeah that is true....but the rules have changed, if the Giants clinch a first round bye, teams can talk to Spags during that week. The only thing that saves this from happening, is the eagles winning enough games to save Reid's job.
The talk on the WIP airwaves in Philly is the firing of Andy Reid...if that occurs look for Philly yo hire Steve Spagnualo, the d-coord of the Giants...the Philly talk is all about getting spags back to Philly.
I was thinking the same thing...which is why Dallas is irrelevant...they barely won last night against a mediocre team...both Pittsburgh and Baltimore will beat them, another loss to us, that puts them with 7 losses which won't be good enough this year to make the playoffs.
Eagles had a 3 game winning streak until they met the Giants and the Ravens had a four game winning streak until yesterday...how did those hot streaks turn out for them. Not too well I imagine.
How demoralizing must it be for the rest of the NFL that the best rushing defense could not stop the Giants. How must these teams feel knowing they can't stop the running game and just when you think you may have them on the ropes the defense forces a turnover that turns into points....and if there is that slight chance that the game might be close at the end you then have to deal with Mr. Comeback, Eli Manning. I feel bad for the rest of the NFL.
he has signed a one year deal for a reason and that reason is Ahmad Bradshaw...in other words Ward is expendable. Some team will pay him way too much money like the Browns gave Reuben Droughns, and he now makes the league min. on our special teams after that trade for Tim Carter. Unless the money is so great, I doubt that Ward will leave anyway.
Redskins are a fraud....its pretty simple with them, shut down Portis, force Campbell to beat you and then run the ball on them. You don't need to blow them out, you just need to manage to their weaknesses.
