  1. True. Infact the only player they would ever know would be Archie. And if you want to stretch a bit then maybe Ricky Williams or Deuce McAllister.
  2. I know. Ive known very few of the real fans. The rest of them are usual bandwagon, closet fans who will now suddenly show-up as if theyve been bleeding gold and black since the day they were born. On a side note - Shockey gets his second ring, catches a TD in the Superbowl, the Chargers must like a real bunch of fucking nitwits, the Manning legacy takes a slight hit, and I dont know if anybody deserved it more than Drew Brees did.
  3. Along these lines, the only QBs I will most certainly take over Eli are Peyton, Brady and Brees. Not Ben - he did everything in his power to lose the first SB and if anything - THAT was a SB that was entirely won by the Steeler defense. Ben did nothing. The defense might have set the tone for the Giants run, but if Eli did not engineer those drives and just let his defense do everything, then he wouldnt have a ring now would he? Fact is he does. I see this truck load of bullcrap saying, if Tyree had not caught that catch, or Eli got 70 yrds on a short toss to BJ otherwise he would have been under 200 yards, Steve Smith caught a fluke 50 yrd TD otherwise Eli would have had 0 TDs. That has to be the greatest piece of human excreta Ive ever seen. If he had dropped, if he hadnt caught etc - well - fact of the matter is they did catch it, they did gain those yards and thats where it stands. If you find it convenience to mention the fact that Tyree made a near impossible grab, why doesnt anyone mention the fact that Eli somehow managed to get free from a near impossible position from inbetween 5 defenders, got free and made that impossible throw which resulted in an impossible catch. When you want to beat a Patriots team that was considered one of the best ever in History, impossible things need to be done and that is what Eli did. Unfortunately Romo, McNabb etc can pad their stats but the fact remains, they didnt manage to do near impossible things and hence are still sitting and twiddling their empty thumbs and fingers.
  4. Simple. He was part of a Defense that gave up 5000 points this season. Hence nobody from our defense belongs in the Pro-Bowl.
  5. Good stuff. Eli will never become an elite QB in the eyes of others until he puts up giddy numbers like Manning, Brady or Brees. That is the only thing that makes them "elite" QBs. Those guys are obviously the best. Big Ben won his Superbowl literally riding on his team's defense and he had a LOUSY Superbowl! Lousy. He did everything to lose, but thankfully his team saved him. The second one he played well. Eli's and his team had a symbiotic relationship. At times the defense would play lights out and he wouldnt have to do too much. And at times he would literally take it upon himself to engineer game winning drives. This year he played lights out! but his defense and at a lot of times his WRs who had too many drops hurt him. Even after that he made those bunch of young WRs look good - even after all that butterfingers stuff.
  6. Your Nazi mom was not too effective on you since you "used to use it"
  7. As long as he has the brains to select effective Co-ordinators, Id take him. He's a smart coach.
  8. Romeo just wants to get his resume back on track after dismal seasons in Cleveland. A couple decent seasons in KC would do it for him. The other major factor could be that KC sucks balls anyway. So the expectations are very low so any mild upgrade with a bunch of draft picks is enough for him to be 'successful' as per people's perception. Such is not the case with the Giants where the expectations are monumental. And maybe his confidence is down a little and he would rather have familiar shoulders to cry on if required like Pioli and Weiss. Plus maybe he isnt too comfortable working 'under' Hitler Coughlin. Either way, Im disappointed that other teams are aggressively going to the major DCs available while we are sitting with our thumbs up our asses. At this point, Id love Zimmer with the option of him upgrading to HC when Coughlin retires. He really had the Bengals playing lights out for him. Zimmer, Pepper, Jauron - go for these guys NOW!! STOOPID IMGRATES!
  9. Alas....we can only "imagine" something like that
  10. I was thinking the same thing. Some people are damn good as Co-ordinators, but suck balls as HC. Gregg Williams, Crennel, Weiss, Martz, Jauron and the list goes on. He will be a lot more successful if he stuck to the DC reins for a while. I swear, Ill wet the bed if we land him as our DC. Him or Jauron. Throw in Weiss as OC and voila! Ill pass out till offseason.
  11. Gilbride needs to go. Yes the offense played well this season and the defense was just a bunch of cocklicks. But Gilbride's problem is consistency. He is not a smart coach. One week the O is up, the next its abyssmal. And 'smart' OCs DO NOT FUCKING CALL A DRAW ON 3rd and 5 - MULTIPLE TIMES. Dipshit imbecile OCs do that. While the O has been quite good, its the sudden spurts of absolute idiocy that comes out of Gilbride that worries me. Get rid of both OC and DC and fucking Crennel and Weiss in here!!
  12. REESE YOU STOOPID IMGRATE! PICK UP THE PHONE DOOD!! CALL ROMEO ROMEO NOW! But in anycase, Reese is going back to Pioli. Ill wet my bed if the Giants can get him as DC. But Im more concerned with the 4-3, 3-4 switch though. What about Jauron? Is he available? What about Lovie? He he - Irony - we are thinking about our future DCs who are guys names Romeo and Lovie
  13. Even after this fuckall season, I have a huge smile on my face. MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED. Im glad this happened the way it did because it was necessary. If we follow the normal procedure, do some evaluation bullshit and then pack him a month down the line it wont have the same effect. The way it happened was necessary to drive home a point. But Im not too sold on Mara saying TC will stay. The GM definitely should stay. But TC - though he is a good coach - is outdated. We need fresh blood.
  14. I hope so too. But the thread thats right below this one - Sheridumb actually thinks he will be back next year. And considering Coughlin's cocksucking his Co-ordinators, they will blame it on 1st year and injuries and other shit and totally sweep idiocy, stupidity and incompetence under the carpet and might retain him another year. If they do, murder is on the cards.
  15. I know. Im not saying Coughling will be given the boot either. Though Id very much like it. I can understand your analogy, but this is different. You might come to work in a shitty mood on one day. But would you do it for 2 whole months. And even if you do, then whats the reason? Obviously you dont like your job. But these guys all want to play football. And even after that if they are in a shitty mood everyday, its because their 'boss' wasnt able to improve it for them. He was not able to motivate them effectively and at one point all the employees went into 'Fuck it man! This is hopeless' mode - why because the coach/boss just didnt have it in him to improve the attitude of the team. Its not one person. Its everyone!!
  16. WHAT THE FUCK??? Some Poor performances WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT??? WTF is this guy trying to say??? That the defense sucked ass everyweek. Yes they did you fucking imbecile and you are fucking responsible. Injuries I can understand, but idiocy in schemes and total incompetency and lack of fight on the field I cannot and you, you dumb stupid fuck are responsible. Just die. Fucking Osi into coverage, putting the safety on a no-name TE while DeSean runs free, putting everybody in the wrong fucking position. This guy is a putz! He cant get decimated soon enough.
  17. They are a good team and they have damn good defensive coach and a defensive Co-ordinator and they are playing awesome on D within their limits with smart schemes. They have a good OL and a punishing running game and are keeping their QB from putting the game on his shoulders. Simple, smart strategy. Very unlike the other team that plays home games in the same stadium. Bad Coordinators, average coach, idiot players who are product of idiotic scheming and always put the game on the QB's shoulders especially when all the WRs come out of KFC with oily hands.
  18. The team should have fire and its up to the coach to light it. There are enough teams that are fighting it out and actually playing lights out for their coach. Carolina, Washington - a lot of them who eventhough might be shitty teams, you cant say they arent fighting it out on the field. THis team doesnt do that. It lacks heart and sucks balls and do not have the heart to play for their coach. That means its the coach's fault that he could not motivate the team. Means - he has lost this team. He might save his ass a little by getting rid of Sheridan and Gilbride. But I agree with Jack entirely. Get rid of this guy. We need a fresh face, fresh ideas and fresh motivation and ideaology. Coughlin is geriatric and there is a dearth of ideas and nothing new.
  19. Dont you know that its the highlight reel that determines who gets into the Pro-Bowl? That, on-field antics and retarded fans voting. Useless people like Steve Smith who do nothing but be the go-to guy for a QB and do nothing but move the chains consistently while maintaing a low profile have no business being in the Pro-Bowl! So stop talking bullshit!
  20. He might but Storm's point is Smith doesnt need to go to the ProBowl because someone else is not playing or someone is going to the Superbowl. Smith deserves to go the Pro-Bowl as a first choice and I agree with him. He was snubbed because the overall population/fanbase is retarded with their votes. And also because he is on a non-playoff team.
  21. Welker, Moss, Smith, Rice - whoever the fuck. Did anyone ever factor this into the equation that the Giants blew big blue balls and absolutely fucking sucked ass in red zone offense??? They just couldnt fucking get the ball in and would rely on might Tynes. That might have a lot to do with it. The other teams were way more efficient in scoring. That could have something to do with it as well....just a thought
  22. Hedgecock is a bum. We need a "Mike Alstott" or a "Lorenzo Neal". He was as much a factor in making LDT who he is.
  23. Stupid thread. As a die-hard Giants fan, the entire concept of 'rooting' for the Cowboys or Eagles doesnt exist. Infact, "Root" and "Cowboys/Eagles" does not belong in the same sentence unless it includes 'never' or 'not'. I do not "root" for anybody but the Giants. But since we are out, Ill just enjoy the playoffs for what its worth and hope a decent team ala Saints or Colts or Minny win it.
