Exactly. Coughlin might be a good coach but he is senile and a dinosaur. And his choice of Co-ordinators is nothing short of piss-poor. One Spags goes not erase a bucket full of shit. And promoting a LB coach - the worst aspect of our defense to be a Co-ordinator was brainless move. An absolutely retarded crappy decision. Im not asking for the axe on Coughlin just yet. And against Carolina - the moment Mario Mofo fumbled after getting an awesome first down on a stellar throw by Eli - I knew it was over right then but my heart wouldnt listen and thought we had a fight. Then the Tuck penalty, offsides on 3rd down put the final nail in the coffin. I think we need to go for Cowher and no matter what shoot Sheridan in the fucking face with a shotgun!

I wouldnt go as far to say he gave up. He knew what his strengths were and he knew he was not being allowed to utilize his strengths. He knew that with the shitty scheme Sheridan was putting together, no matter what he did he would still be less than effective. He played to his fullest, but the scheme made him look mediocre. I think once Sheridone goes - Osi will be back as the Osi we all know him to be.

I disagree Storm. Osi is one of the passionate players that we have and wants to win as much as anybody in the league. But he was forced to play under a system that didnt know how to utilize him. Spags did. Sheridan didnt know his dick from his asshole about having an effective scheme and hence he had a run-in with him even before the season began. It was obvious he was not happy playing for Sheridan. Once Sheridan goes and a decent DC - infact with the way our coaching carousel looks - DC can be rephrased into Decent Coordinators - comes in, Osi will play to his full potential.

When Osi had a run-in with Sheridan even before the season began and left practice - we should have realised right then that this bum was not fit for this team. Osi always had fire and passion and wanted to win and he realised right then that Sheridan was fuck-up who was putting the wrong players in wrong positions and doing all the wrong things. If Sheridan goes, I think Osi returns to his form of 2 years back. We need to draft nothing but the best available LBer in the first round. And the best available safety in the second. The rest can be gotten in the later rounds or through free agency. How much money will Patrick Willis ask for?

After the way the Giants played tonight, Im mighty impressed with them. Momentum roll going into the playoffs and its anybody's ball game. The Giants just sent out a notice to the NFC saying 'People! Our D-line that was in coma all season long suddenly decided to get up from its slumber'. I hope they keep this up. If they do, Im sure a lot of the NFC teams will be a little skeptical about playing the Giants in the playoffs. P.S - I hope Washington's horrendous O-Line didnt have anything to do with making our D-line look like demigods!

Its better that this team doesnt unnecessarily show some kind of a flame and then extinguish itself in a bad way in the playoffs - which is more than likely the case. Dallas did beat the Saints - and I knew they will. Irrespective of that Storm, if we do win out and if we make the playoffs, rest assured - we didnt do it because of good fortune or because the officials sucked Giant dick. Its because we won the games that we did and that automatically means we DESERVE to be in the playoffs. Infact, I dont get whether this whole 'we dont DESERVE' to be in the playoffs nonsense comes from. You are in the playoffs only if we win a certain number of games and if we do that we are in - thats it. Period. Just because a Titans team or a Redskins team sucked balls all season and suddenly went on a hot run towards the end of the season that they DESERVE to be in the playoffs more than we do. Fact in, in an entire season - we won more games than they did and thats why we are there. How we are playing as of now is not relevant. I agree this Giants team might not be as good as the one that was in the playoffs the last couple of years, but that doesnt mean we DONT deserve to be in the playoffs or other bullcrap along those lines. Maybe other teams in the playoffs are better than us. But if we do get to the playoffs, then its because we belonged there. And losing in the first round - if it happens then so be it. Some teams have to lose in the first round, 12 teams dont play the Superbowl. If we lose we lose, but there is no reason for us sit around and wish that we lose etc for a higher draft pick. And regarding that, a higher draftpick will command a lot more money as compared to someone who will come middle/late first round and who will perform equally well.

Ive been maintaining that Dallas will beat New Orleans for the entire week. It made perfect sense. Dallas was playing for its playoff lives and Saints were winning by sheer luck the past few weeks. This was bound to happen. The Saints did not know what to do or how to handle this whole perfect season nonsense. They just decided -Ah fuck it. Lets just lose one game, end this bullcrap perfect season nonsense and then just concentrate on winning out from here on. Thats exactly what happened.
