  1. How does it matter - we are the Santa Claus for most teams. Atlants and Baltimore looked iffy until they played us - and now they are world beaters?
  2. In the immortal words of Allen Iverson - Bradshaw and Nicks havent practiced through the week for most of the season. They only maybe - practice a few snaps on Friday and show up for the game. Thats what has really fucked up this offense. There is absolutely no rhythm. Even on long balls - its the practice that gets people in rhythm. And the Giants team has had too many stars not practice during the week. Thats really fucked us up I feel. On both sides of the ball.
  3. The problem with the team is the OL and the offensive game plan. Fewell I dont care - but Gilbride has to go. He just has to. Ive seen Gilbride fuck this offense up too many times. He gets outcoached a little too often. The playcalling is atrocious, the personnel choice even more so. Our red-zone/green-zone horseshit has sucked since the beginning of time and we cant even fucking get 1yrd when needed. We need a beast at FB. An absolute beast. Go for Marcel Reese and pay him a lot of money if reqd. We need to look at FA for O and FA and draft for D - and a bunch of players to re-structure. This team is still wearing the ring - and its like the fucking ring from LOTR. It zaps their will to win. I dont see how the Pats keep coming in year after year prepared and ready and we just skull-fuck our way to a few wins and then immediately get sodomized the week after.
  4. Seattle should also have lost to SFO last night right? Are we out? I dont see it anywhere - but whats the scenario now?
  5. I think a lot has to do with the inconsistency of the O-Line. I think our O-line got too one-dimensional. Remember few weeks back when Eli was the least sacked QB in the league? Ever since then, the opposing DL and DC's have been coming up with a variety of schemes to rape the OL and we have gotten raped. We smashed some of the top teams in the NFC purely based on OL play. Elsewhere it has been pure shit. Eli is a pure pocket passer and his WRs are dropping shit like the world's gonna end. If the OL doesnt perform - we are done. We have lost the battle of the trenches in all the games we have been blown out. We need to fix that. Get a bloody O-line coach and a fucking OC who atleast game plans based on weaknesses to overcome them - and NOT lets Ds exploit them. Gilbride has always been a a few fries short of a happy meal in the mental department. As someone said earlier - "There's a bus leaving for New York Gilbride - Be under it"
  6. Do you even know what the Giants do against rookie QBs? They create a bust for them at Canton based on just that game. Thats why Im dreading the Eagles game more than Baltimore. But the thing with the Giants is - they are like the Max Baer of boxing - you never know what you are getting. Baer the killer or Baer the clown.
  7. This guy is like one of those puppies they show on 9gag or imgur. A little too too nice. Dude - a little smack talk in between is necessary. Dont you know? This is sportswrath!!! The sky falls here at the drop of a hat! Hell I think we should make the poster of Skyfall as our official MB banner!
  8. Eli has re-structured once and he will do so again Im sure - to be able to accomodate Cruz and Nicks - Cruz certainly - Nicks not too sure. Webster needs to go. Mook is playing at a very high level and is only getting better. We can get someone else to replace him. The OL needs an overhaul. The entire offense is based on the OL and we need some major upgrades there. Gallery might come cheap if he is available?
  9. Is Jauron available for DC? Norv would make a good OC. Even get in Nick Saban if possible as OC - the game is evolved with college rookie QBs doing extremely well. It might be necessary to have a vision change.
  10. Just realised that the top 2 positions in the SW Pick em' league is held by people who reside outside the United States
  11. Same here - Prefer the 11.30pm(IST) - 1pm US games. Im done with dinner, back home from work with a bottle of whisky and am all set to watch it online once the wife goes to sleep. Am in India BTW
  12. ROTFLMAO!!! Sorry - Brainfart confession
  13. It would except for that fact that he clearly expressed there is only one other team he is interested in playing for and thats the Giants. Other teams might not take kindly to that statement. Id take him back in a flash!
  14. Looking at how well Stevie Brown can catch and dude's fast as well. Do you think the Giants might try something creative like the Pats did and use him on O and check? Might be worth a shot. He can create some matchup problems and he's got an excellent football brain and his timing is impeccable. Itd be fun if theyd try that. I know the Giants never will - but looking at his play - I think they ought to think a little out of the box on this one. He's fast, and can flat out catch!!! Ive seen more dropsies on our WRs than Brown.
  15. Kregg Lumpkin and Torain (who might have upside) are currently only garbage time players on the Giants - if Bradshaw can stay healthy and with Wilson breaking out. The dude didnt go for the money - he had his rings and the 9ers paid him more than we were willing to. Anybody would do that. To atleast state that he will willingly come back and play for the Giants is enough evidence that theres not bad blood. Id take him back in a heartbeat. He atleast will have that extra fire to prove himself and get some playing time and might be useful in the playoffs.
  16. This is stupid. Perfectly correct and acceptable what JPP said. This doesnt motive Brees anymore than it anyway should in a must-win game. Brees knows his strength as does JPP knows his. This is being blown out of proportion for no reason. Jesus - we sound like the GMB!
  17. You and me and the entire Giants fan base - minus the coaches and Gilbride in particular. You take shots downfield in the first half and then you run the ball as if you have a lead when you are actually down. Giants took time off their own fucking clock by doing that shit. They always do it.
  18. We lost. Giants dont beat themselves. Opposition beats us. We lost and we made some boneheaded mistakes yes - but they beat us. Lets leave the 'we beat ourselves' to the 9ers and Packers. We had the chance to put the game away but we didnt. Gilbride ensured that.
  19. Agreed - but as Ive maintained. This style is something thats burst out of a cannon and teams are not able to catch up to it. Wait a year and see if this works as consistently as it has this year. I think the real thing thats making RG3 so effective is Alfred Morris being a beast! That dude can run and with power. Its Morris in the lineup that keeps defenses guessing. If not for that strong running game, RG3's effectiveness might be diminished. If Washington can improve the OL through FA/draft - it could get scarily good. Morris is the reason RG3's completion percentage is so high because most of his throws are low-risk throws. He doesnt have to thread the needle. He'll always have guys open and Shanahan is a heck of a coach who can prepare the QB for who is going to be open in that situation. I think RG3 doesnt have to go through progressions the way a normal QB does. He knows before hand its going to be one of 2 guys. Most of his throws have been completed when there isnt a defender in sight.
  20. We run the table from here on - watch. 4 biggies will come up and 4 biggies will go down!
