  1. Man, if only somebody had thought to sign him, we'd be in much better shape.
  2. Whelp, first all I’d like to apologize. It’s obvious Joe Schoen needs all the help he can get this offseason based on his last two, and I’ve only given him a few short days to make decisions on what to do as far as the roster goes. Unfortunately, I’ve been deep in the throes of public duty since October with no immediate end in sight, so my usual run of offseason bullshittery will be a bit… sparse. Still though, I’m always here to help, and I’m willing to take it to the bank that when Schoen sees my plans for building the Giants for success, he’ll ignore them like he always does so he can snag the Joe Isuzus and Dane Beltons of the league. And, as usual, I’ll be there in a few years to bust balls about how he should have listened to me. Ok, let’s make this quick. First of all, the cuts to free up space: the Giants currently have 41 million to spend this year. There’s some guys that bring literally nothing to the table that we can cut to make a little extra room. For starters, I’m getting rid of these guys: That brings our total to 45.7 million to spend. If anyone has a reason to keep any of these guys, I’m all ears. Next, we need to get to the guys on the team that are free agents that we actually want to keep. I’m making offers to these guys: A’Shawn Robinson - 2 years, 12 million, 6 million this season. He’s adequate enough, though I’d like us to get better at this position. It was great to get a 2nd for Williams but nobody can deny he was a good player; Robinson is going to give you better play than DJ Fucking Davidson, another Schoen stink of a pick. Adoree Jackson - 2 years, 22 million, 9 million this season. Again… he’s fine, and that’s the market for cornerbacks who are fine. Behind Banks we literally have nobody (don’t give me that Cordale Flott shit, he’s horrible) and there are other holes to fill on the team. Literally that’s it. Everyone else can walk. Now to get to the guys I’d sign in free agency; right now, we have 28 million dollars to spend. Here’s where I’d spend it: G Robert Hunt - 4 years, 48 million, 12 million this season. This line remains fucking pathetic and embarrasing(way to not listen to me, Joe Schoen) and no offense or QB will EVER BE SUCCESSFUL behind it. Hunt is young (just 27), was a top-six guard last year, and graded out at over 70 in both run and pass blocking. There is no way you can go into next season expecting Joe Isuzu and fucking Marcus McKethan to be your starters. We need a dog there and Hunt is that dog. G Greg Van Roten, 1 year, 2 million dollars - see a theme here? This line fucking sucks. Van Roten isn’t some great player, but he’s cheap and played very well under Bricillo last year for the Raiders. He’s another guy that can come in when Joe Isuzu plays matador and not embarrass you. He’s worth 2 million, easily. S Jordan Poyer, 1 year, 7 million. Poyer didn’t play that well last year, but he can be serviceable until we can find a better, cheaper long-term solution at safety. He actually started out very strong and faded a bit towards the end; maybe he was injured. RB Devin Singletary - two years, 10 million, 5 million this season. Singletary surprised me in Houston this year, where I suspect he’ll remain. Never going to set your world on fire but he’s steady, and I’d take him for this price. QB Josh Dobbs - 1 year, 2 million. I don't think he's anything other than what he is, but if Jones can't go by the start of the season I'd much rather see Dobbs behind center than Tommy Fucking DeVito. I'd love a Gardner Minshew here instead, but we have so many holes and just don't have the money for a top-notch backup. RB D’onta Foreman - one year, 2.5 million. Has played pretty well when given the chance and has graded out better than average over the past two years. That’s it, that’s what I’d do. I’ve had about ninety minutes this offseason to put this together, but I bet it’s better than what Joe Shoen does. Worst-case scenario you have a solid interior line and a capable backup QB. Imagine if I managed this team… man, we’d be in the playoffs every year. Anyways, next week I'll post my mock draft. You know you guys want it.
  3. No green dot for that motherfucker.
  4. This draft is just stacked, especially at positions the team really needs. We could easily take Nabers and still get a top-flight OL and serviceable QB in round 2, or trade down near 10, get picks, and still grab a franchise LT WR, or TE.
  5. Russell Wilson fucking sucks. He was a system QB and the second he didn't have a stacked o- line and he lost 10% of his physical abilities he was done.
  6. Dude had one year of 80+ grading, fucked up his hand, has bitched repeatedly to the media, is on the record saying he wants to be the best paid safety in the league, and got the green dot taken away. This is a really easy decision.
  7. Rumor has it Daniels is falling. Maybe we'll get him. Of course it's smokescreen and bullshit season so not sure I'd believe anything right now.
  8. Andrew Fucking Whitworth WANTED to be our LT but Reese wouldn't even call him because he thought Ereck Flowers was going to be something.
  9. It was statistically the second-worst line in NFL history. It was really bad.
  10. What would you do if Odunze in the first... but Penis in the second?
  11. ... it's ODUNZE! (I'll see myself out now).
  12. Hey you just copied that from your other post! I can see the faint blue highlights behind the text!
  13. I for one will never forget that one time Darren Waller.
  14. From the McCarthy tape I've watched, he just looks like a regular, completely non-descript QB. Like, he's fine in the same way that pre-injury Chad Pennington was fine.
  15. I read that he's changed his mind I think.
  16. Sounds like you're just not gay enough to post on here. Maybe try somewhere more hetero like BBI.
  17. I was so excited that draft thinking that Josh Allen (DE) had just fallen into our laps and then when Jones was announced it was just stunned silence.
  18. Dane Belton is awful and was a wasted pick. Pinnock has been good.
  19. I don't think anybody in the world currently thinks that Jones is the answer at QB. We have a high pick, now is the time to draft the QB of the future. If you trade up, there's NO WAY you trade up for anything other than a QB. The Tom Bradys and Pat Mahomes' of the world are what wins you Super Bowls, not the Larry Fitzgeralds and Terrell Owens.' This year's postseason was Exhibit A on why having a top-flight QB is MUCH more important than anything else on your team. Also, I don't understand the "wait until everything else is in place to draft a QB" mindset. If you're a franchise that is a perennial winner you can afford to do this (Smith to Mahomes, Favre to Rodgers, etc) but you'll have to let your guy develop on the bench for a while since he's unlikely to be a top-5 pick. Take a look at the Texans, Bills, Bengals, etc; their teams all turned around within two years of drafting a QB in the top ten. It's the quickest way to start winning.
  20. https://x.com/RealMNchiefsfan/status/985950763217190912?s=20 Amazing play by Flowers. Not sure I've ever seen a player whiff on three blocks in a row.
  21. Yeah, ten months after the draft!
  22. Kamren Curl is probably going to be half the price, and he's a very good player.
