This team drops like flies especially on D so if he isn't picked up then he will probably be back mid-season. :brooding: No real surprises though and Hasselbeck should have dropped a while ago.

It does suck when players get injured during pre-season but if you couldn't make it through 4 games then how many games of the regular season were these guys going to last. Also for players battling for a position it's going to severely hurt their chances of making the roster. There are many players that are good in practice but just can't get it done during regular games. I know it doesn't happen too often but the under dog player is going to have even less of a chance with 2 games.

I don't know why people are so down on Coughlin on this board. Maybe he isn't the second coming of coaches but he has been effective with an underacheiving team of complainers (ask Fassell about that). Won a division championship with a young QB and then lost to Carolina that went all the way to the NFC campionship game. Last year made the playoffs (all the NFC was ugly) and should have beaten the Eagles if the D could make just 1 drive stop. The only thing I don't like about Coughlin is his stupifying expressions. He always looks like he is confused (his constant what the fuck look) and playing with retards that can't understand football.

Get 'Em Opie. Tiki didn't seem like he was much of a quitter though considering he retired with the most yards of any RB his retiring year (1662 Yards).

I think Jennings would have made the roster as 4th WR this year and I think Moss has to be the odd man out at this point (Tyree makes the team because of special teams). Out most of last season and doing nothing again this pre-season isn't going to help him make the roster.

I think Jennings was going to make the roster because we was mentioned more than once during training camp and was getting throws during pre-season. Too bad he is done now but most people here seem to like Mix so he has a good chance of making the roster now. What the hell is going on with Moss? He's had 1 catch for 10 yards in 2 preseason games.

He would seem to be the odd man out since the Philsbury Throwboy is out playing him. I am sure it's going to be Manning, Lorenzen and Wright.

I am going to have to scan the NFL Network and try and watch this. It's bizarro world that the O was much better than the D when the D looked so promising in practice. Was Kiwanuka any good or was he as bad as his training camp reports?
