If the 2004 draft went............................San Diego keeps Eli,Giants take Lil' Ben and Pittsburgh takes Rivers. We would have been 4-12 last year and Eli would have at least two rings in San Diego, Rivers probably has one in Pittsburgh(they would of won super bowl 40 no matter what). I was thinking yesterday Roethlisberger is one of the most overatted players in the NFL he won a super bowl and gets a free pass since he only threw the ball like 12 times a game that year too, Pittsburgh wins with D and a pounding the ball mentality. Ben really does nothing and if he started with an average team he would be probably be a career backup someone similar to Carr or Harrington.

Kinda wish Romo was playing, because then we know who to prepare for, we've seen Romo 5 times more then any other team, including his first appearance ever. Brad Johnson is about immobile has any quarterback(fucking SF game still haunts me, Tampa won the godamn super bowl w/ Johnson at QB that year FUCK), Dallas is very afraid that were gonna tee off on him like we did when Bledsoe was their QB, Bollinger could be scary though hes not that good but we have no tape on him and probably are not ready to prepare if he was their starter sunday. Aaron Ross freaking terrible, our secondary was a big concern last year and i wish we put more emphasis on it in the offseason, yeah they played "well" in the playoffs but our pass rush covered up the flaws in the secondary can't tell me everybody wasn't holding their breath every time Romo threw downfield in the divisional playoff. Ok we draft Kenny Phillips who looks like the next coming of Roy Williams (not the good one) in Dallas. Should of given Atlanta 82 draft picks for D. Hall. Our front four was beat cause our secondary could not get them off the field, instead letting a very average Cleveland team get 55 play drives. I don't think Osi is overatted, yeah half his sacks came in one game. Only because Andy Reid is the only coach in the NFL dumb of enough to put a LT one on one against Osi. I think Osi is by far the best DE in the NFL not Jared "DWI" Allen or Dwight "career over" Freeney. Osi is probably my favorite player on the team and is just sick athletically, Strahan even said if Osi could put it all together he could be better then Mike was, on more then one occassion. Make no mistake this hurts bad.

We almost had Jason Taylor in the Shockey deal now he is hurt as well but not a season ending deal, but Strahan could be an option maybe we strike a deal for Julius Peppers, he doesn't want to be in Carolina and is in a contract year maybe Spags brings some life back into Peppers career

The Pro Bowl defensive end has a torn MCL. Umenyiora injured his left knee in the second quarter of the New York Giants' preseason game against the New York Jets. Umenyiora started all 16 games last season and had 52 tackles and a team-high 13 sacks. He added seven tackles in the Giants' run to the Super Bowl. The Giants are a bit thin at defensive end this season with the retirement of seven-time Pro Bowler Michael Strahan. Tuck has replaced Strahan. New York also signed veteran Renaldo Wynn in the offseason. With Umenyiora sidelined, the Giants could move strongside linebacker Mathias Kiwanuka back to defensive end. He was switched to linebacker last year so the team could put its best 11 players on the field. "You are always concerned any time a player like that goes down," Kiwanuka said. "That's not good. We know the type of player he is and if he can come back he will. But we have the personnel to step up in his absence." Yeah i was watching ESPN after to see highlights and Mark Scrlereth was praising how great the Jets were and basically said they are getting a playoff spot and maybe even challenging NE for the division? i said what?, their O-line was out of sync, Brett was even complaining how complicated the offense was.
