  1. eh, unfortunately Banks is wrong in this case. Thibs has been right place, right time for most of those sacks. He's near the bottom of the league in pressure rate. He's the beneficiary of Dex absolutely fucking up offenses. And if I see him standing around one more time, while the rest of the D is gang tackling, I might lose all faith in him. Okay not quite.... but there's something off with that dude so far this season. Probably an unreported injury.
  2. hmm... that's exactly what a troll would say.
  3. the analytics data is enlightening, Taylor has gotten about a quarter second more per snap before the pressure was upon him compared to Jones, and that is being weighed down by the Seattle game in which pass protection hit rock bottom; if we look at just the starts for both QBs, its an extremely stark difference. It also shows that Taylor is somewhat faster to abandon the pocket than Jones is, even despite enjoying improved pass protection. the one reason I suspect Taylor may be the right QB for this particular offense, when leaving the pocket he does seem better than Jones at keeping his eyes downfield. But a weakness in Taylors game is his quick hook on pocket passing. A good example came on his handful of deep drops over the last couple weeks. If there's a pocket, Jones steps up. Taylor rarely steps up when those edges come around at 10-12 yards, instead he bails. Its a long running problem with his game, its the one thing that separates him from being a really legit starting QB, in my opinion. So Taylor is probably a little better when things break down.... but, he's also more likely to cause things to break down.
  4. that INT he had last week was next level. There are guys who just happen randomly to be right place, right time, then there's plays like that where right place, right time was zero accident.
  5. I smell trolling in this thread, LOL
  6. I’m not sure Tyre Phillips shouldn’t stay at RT when Neal is healthy.
  7. What drives me nuts is, this D would be pretty legit if we had Thibs playing like he did his rookie season.
  8. That was some old school NFC East football.
  9. Gates usually plays with some swagger. There is no swagger today. None.
  10. Howell could play well on a team with good protection. As is, good lord, someone teach this man how to throw the ball away, for his own safety.
  11. The good news is, there’s about a cunt hair difference is ability between the starter and back up. The bad news is, the starter is Daniel Jones.
  12. Feels like a good time be aggressive. Howell in his own end zone is good stuff.
  13. Wow did Banks come off his man to pick that off? Great play regardless.
  14. Yeah maybe decent isn’t the right word, lol. Better though. Pugh has been an improvement from Ezudu and Peart, and Phillips has played above Neal’s standard as well.
  15. The offensive line has actually been decent today is the biggest difference I’ve noticed.
  16. He’s gotten comfortable with the scheme I guess, he’s playing really fast right now.
  17. Just chuck it over everyone’s head and let Hyatt run under it. Instant offense.
  18. Heh they were pushing on each other, fine no call to me.
  19. Tyre Phillips is back and I’m not sure why we let him get away in the first place.
  20. I’m looking forward to Wink v Howell. But on 3rd and 21 he drops 8 into coverage? How disappointing.
