They just got Michael Turner and they still have Jerious Norwood. I don't think they'd have any interest in Ward. I'm happy to have Ward for another year, I thought he was gone for sure. Don't get me wrong I'd probably trade Ward and our 1st for Hall, I just don't see it happening.

He suffered from the dreaded high ankle sprain this past season but should come at a decent price and he has all off-season to recover. When healthy he is very solid. Thoughts? Should we be interested? With the rumors of big blue looking into Javon Walker (who has a history of injuries along with a shitty, whiney attitude) why not look into Hackett?

Yeah a lot of mock drafts I've seen have Dan Connor or Keith Rivers falling to us. I'd be stoked if we landed either player but I can't lie I've been really high on Hardy for a while now and wouldn't be dissapointed if we drafted him.

I'd love Hardy, he's drawing comparisons to Plax and nearly the same size and he had a good showing at the combine. Probably won't fall to us but one can dream. Hardy opposite Plax... *drools*

Yeah I agree about the draft class, but look at what we got in the 7th with Amhad last season. All our picks played a huge part in bringing another ring to big blue. Anyways do you see us taking a wr project maybe in the middle rounds? Amani has 2 good years left tops and Plax isn't getting any younger...

Nothing against Gibril but the Raider's IMO overpaid. Safety was a weak position in free agency and Gibril benefited from that.

Nice post! I recall back when Jacobs won offensive player of the month early in the season that the o-line deserved a ton of credit as well. I've seen a few mock drafts that have us taking a left tackle with an early pick, some even with our 1st. I thought Diehl did a solid job for the most part. He did give up 13.5 sacks though and I'm not sure if he has the foot speed to match up with some of the better ends out there. Drafting a true left tackle would enable him to move back to guard where I think he's better suited at his natural position. This is in no way a knock on him and like I said for someone learning a new position, especially left tackle I thought he did a fine job. I don't think it's our biggest need but I wouldn't be shocked at all if we drafted another OT.
