  1. Say what you will about Coach Fassel, but the guy knew how to utilize Shockey. He split Shockey out wide and wasn't afraid to throw deep to him. Coughlin/Gilbride keep Shockey at the line nearly all the time, barely utilize him, and when they do utilize him its at very predictable times (ex. goal line situations). I am not a Coughlin basher by any stretch, but he is severely under utilizing a guy that could have revolutionized the position. If I had to pick anyone in the NFL who have been screwed out of a few great years of their career because of how they are utilized, it would clearly be Shockey. Its only a matter of time before he will look elsewhere to get more balls thrown to him.
  2. Hey guys just wondering if you could help me out with this question. I attended the Giants-Eagles game earlier this year and me and 3 of my friends bought the tickets off of e bay and it came with a parking pass. For my birthday, my girlfriend got me tickets to the Giants-Redskins game for Sunday Night. Is it true that the only way you can use the stadium parking is if you have a parking pass? I can't pay cash there? I can't seem to remember from the last game I went to because like I said I already had a parking pass that came with the tickets. Thanks!
  3. Man.... I am 22 years old and have not missed a Giants game since I was 8. I have never seen them have a defense that has played this well over the course of a year. We are consistently holding teams to less than 20 points and our corners and d backs have not been a problem all year. We have 3 guys who will have more than 10 sacks at the end of the year and the D has become the stronger part of our team. Who woulda thought... way to go spags!!!
  4. Running the ball on 3rd and 5 from midfield basically saying "Eli we don't trust you anymore".
  5. Ha I mean I don't mean it literally but I have an intense hatred of all eagles fans. They really are awful.
  6. Can we make it happen on Sunday boys? Anyways time to drink myself stupid tonight for my 22nd and try not to think about our annual growing list of injuries
  7. and my bedroom has a fist size hole in the wall now... thanks eli
  8. Eli played like trash and the O-line looked like swiss cheese
  9. sure he's not performing like he had in the first 6 games, but.... he is still capable of having huge games. If he didn't drop those 2 balls we're looking at around a 70-85 yard day (pretty solid). Plus, he's taking drawing attention and setting things up for Shockey (last week) and Moss this week. We need him out there until we are fairly confident that we are a lock for the playoffs.
  10. I didn't have a big problem with the play calling today. It would have been nice to see them take a try deep once or twice but as a whole it was nowhere as bad as in weeks past.
  11. There was atleast 3 plays when they were in our backfield pretty much before we snapped the ball. Terrible non-calls.
  12. I called my dad right after the game. He's a doctor - He said if it is a hairline fracture, he could be back in 2-3 weeks. If not he's prob. looking at 6-7.
  13. their rb's don't scare me... the real good news is that peterson won't play when we play the vikings
  14. their rb's don't scare me... the real good news is that peterson won't play when we play the vikings
  15. you guys are sad... truely sad... 6-3 and the season is lost to you all because we lost to a team that could go 15-1
  16. If Plax really goes down soon for good then I would say the Giants are officially cursed with injury luck. The only people that absolutely can not get hurt for us to have a successful season are Manning and Burress pretty much. Even Ward proved effective when Jacobs went down. Plax is only one of 2 essential pieces right now. We have no depth here. We need him to grind this one out.
  17. Eli could throw for 4,000 yards 28 touchdowns and 10 interceptions and people would still hate him
  18. I hate these pessimistic fans. Like I said, I think the Giants will go 10-6 or 11-5, but Plax is saying his ankle is the worst its ever been and its starting to show. If we lose Plax for any extended period of time we are in MAJOR trouble. The injury curse might be around the corner for our beloved G-Men.
  19. You don't think his 4th quarter win against the Broncos a few years back and the comeback in Philly last year weren't signature games?
  20. If Bradshaw doesn't cough the ball up I don't mind him returning kicks
