Unless we ar going to offer him a contract that rivals the one that Clements got in San Fran, I don't see him coming here. He wouldnt fit in he's a "me" player, acouple years ago he was Cinci's only receiver and he thought he was the big shit of the team. But last year and this year when T.J. Houseofvanilla started to come out he realized he wasnt as big as he thought he was and he is starting to get up there in age. I think Chad thinks he is going to get a Randy Moss type of situation, where he can get in with some competing team like the Pats. Unfortunately unlike Moss, Moss knowns to keep his mouth shut and play...where Chad just keeps on flapping his.

I see him coming back for one more year, SB win or not. He is still a dominate force on the field and is a constant headache who commands double teams from O-lines. I think he comes back another year and rotates playing time with Tuck.

I think Eggy was refering to when Jacobs was talking shit about Dallas in the second game. I have to admit it kin of pissed me off after the game, Bjac running his mouth and having a the game that he did.

Well he was on our practice squad in 05 and in 06 he missed the entire season with an off the field injury. I guess he slipped in a nightclub and tore something so the only time this kid was with us was in 05 when Tiki and BJac were tearing up the field. Add to that he was injured in all of 06 and you could see why we have never seen this kid for what he is. So really letting him go was never that big of a deal and I still don't think it is, the Packers took a chance with a kid coming off a season ending injury and cashed out. But yeah I can see what you mean, it's funny when you see guys like Jamarcus Russel being taken the first pick in the draft yet the kid in my mind anyways will never been the QB Oakland wants him to be. Then theres guys like Bradshaw taken in the 7th or not drafted at all who turn out to be gems.

In all honesty it still worked for us. Jacobs, Bradshaw and Ward and who knows who else we pick up in the 7th round I find it funny that their 1st round pick is a bust while if we never traded them Grant they wouldnt be where they are today.

I think the Bucs were planning him to go between the tackles though, I mean sometime they had all their LB's right behind their DTs just waiting for something up the middle. I think we caught them off guard when trying to power run it to the outside and it paid off. Jacobs would punish their outside LBs and then Bradshaw just ran past them half the time.

Eli has showed me alot today and even last week and you know I can say I'm glad about taken him in the draft......*whew* never though I would say that Anyways how about our other young star...BRADSHAW....my god how good did this kid look? I mean he has hitting the hole like a fucking jack hammer and his speed and quickness is like Tiki. Jacobs and Bradshaw...our 1/2 combo for years to come.

I said that with the kid under center we wouldn't go anywhere and that I didn't have any faith in him. I'm not saying that he changed my mind entirely but I can now say he's giving me a bit of hope. Eli...no not the kid but Eli Manning showed he can finally play at the level that we wanted him too and if the game is on his shoulders he has the ability to lead us to a win. So Eli congratulations on your first playoff win and lets hope it isn't your last. P.S. How about the play calling? Maybe Gilbride has finally found something that works.
