  1. Eli was the only Giant to show up that day. Rest of the team figured the Packers wouldn't show up to the game.
  2. Dudes been getting raw dogged recently. I wonder if he can sue or use the NFLPA to go after the Cowboys, I mean they let him go for no other reason than they thought he got into some trouble. It's funny now they have to sit there and say "Oh it was a football decision to move on, nothing to do with anything else" to try and save face.
  3. I swear all he needs is a coach to start him and he's a HoF DE.
  4. On the contrary my dear boy, I respect Egils fans and the level of trash talk they bring. I grew up with a best friend who is a die hard Egils fan along with his brother, and they both admit the Egils will probably never win a SB in their lifetimes, but they will still trash talk like they go 19-0 every year. That level of commitment to delusion is next to the fuckers blowing themselves up for 41 virgins or whatever the number is, probably the same number of virgins here.
  5. Without trash talking, what else do Eagles fans have? They are on step down from the Jags and one step up from the Browns, only thing setting them apart is the delusion that if they trash talk "hard enough" they can somehow make it seem the team has accomplished something.
  6. I don't see why the guy has failed to maintain any sort of competitive roster which was horribly exposed in the Super Bowl. Maybe if he wants to come in as a scout sure why not.
  7. So the Brett Favre wing? He and Eli can be the two occupants, not bad company I'd say.
  8. I don't think there is must argument there either. Manning fucked the dog last year, or just his wife, either way Manning decision making was god awful and he still cant throw consistently throw a pass that doesnt sail on the WR. But he wins games..... most of the time, only when it matters really ala the playoff games.
  9. He wont be first ballet, but he'll get in eventually.
  10. To me the best back in football atm is David Johnson, the kid has everything you would want in a RB. He's fast, can block, probably the best reciving back in the NFL, can break tackles and get out of traffic. He only had a 4.5 40 time.
  11. I mean outside of paying a QB 17 million to sit on the bench and potentially breaking the kids confidence. We could probably get away with benching most of our starters just to see what the rookies got, really wont hurt at all.
  12. This years free agency was weak in Oline as well, alot of over the hill players, or others looking for a big pay day. If anything the draft was where the Gints were gonna find starters, draft was packed in the first few rounds.
  13. The two guys who stayed in NJ all off season "and trained like beasts" Hart and Flowers were the two guys who were constantly held out of practice with soreness and issues. Guess they went with Sinorice Moss's old trainer.
  14. From everything I've read; Engram, LaCross(?) and Webb have been the stars of the OTAs so far. Johnson is having a solid camp, #3 QB spot competition (if you call it any sort of news) Shepard is a legit #2, nice to have a bunch of WRs who can be #1/2 on other teams, Gonna be a match up nightmare with OBJ/Shepard/Marshall being moved around from inside to outside every play. No depth at CB, outside of DRC/Jenkins no one has been stepping up to fill the nickle corner spot. Might have a real starting FB with Shane Smith who has reportedly "knocked the fuck out of people" when blocking. Thompson has shown very good speed and movement after coming back from that injury. Tomlinson looks like a copy of Snacks, eating up anything in the run game. Soreness, soreness everywhere, Ellison, Flowers, Apple, Jenkins, Pugh, Hart, lots of starters missing time with "soreness", hopefully just rest the fuckers till the start of the season. OBJ continues to show why you don't need to go to voluntary workouts by basically catching everything thrown his way.
  15. Yeah the NFL Network used to be good, then they went the way of ESPN where they care more about what former players think about the latest fashion than football.
  16. Had to do something, from what I read it was the NFLs lowest viewed year.
  17. It's funny reading all these recent articles and expert pundits about "How a great super amazing HoF QB like Kapper cant get a job because the NFL is a racist white male supremacy" Yet anyone who watched any sort of football knew that Kapper was a below average QB who got lucky that a defense could carry him.
  18. The same people who care that OBJ missed voluntary OTAs.
  19. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000813007/article/eli-apple-mother-annie-battle-over-dietary-direction Twitter Ads info and privacy So who, in this game of mom says, son says, do we believe? Eli, who put the fried-food claim at "100 percent true," said he gained the pounds to avoid getting pushed around in physical meetings with opposing wideouts. Annie elaborated in her Twitter defense that rice is a staple of her cooking. Anyone who's attempted a healthy bulk has turned to the complex carb at one point or another. But was it steamed or fried? Annie reiterated her innocence as the family chef, but we might need a sit-down with the two Apples to settle this once and for all. We can wait and wonder. It's cutting season, anyway. Not a team player obviously, first Backham, now Apple is fighting his own mother? This team is a wreck made up of non team players who shouldnt be on the Gints. Guess it's been a long offseason for the media.
  20. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000811347/article/what-matters-and-what-doesnt-during-ota-season
  21. And since it's voluntary, he has no responsibility to be there.
  22. Once again though, this has nothing to do with OBJ, just the bias of the refs (which shouldnt be the case in any situation) and the fans. A player shouldn't be judged off the field for what they do, baring anything illegal. It's why there has been a recent outrage over TO getting snubbed for the HoF, the guy is one of the top WRs to touch the field and he got snubbed simply because the media didnt like him. I'll say it again Beckham has done nothing to deserve this level of criticism from the fans or the media or most importantly the refs. He isnt on Twitter bashing the team or Eli, or talking about how he knows better than the coaches or trainers, he's not Ochoheadbuttoh, or Randy Moss, he's not Dez Bryant or Charles Rodgers, he's not even on the levels of guys like Bennett or even Sherman, guy who have literally crisitized their own teams/players/ the NFL and acted in ways that are far and beyond that of the team. He's OBJ, a fit on the sidelines, and a boat picture and suddenly he's the reason for the team losing and he needs to get his shit together, it's laughable, along with people getting into even bigger hissy fits over the fact players dont show up to voluntary OTAs.
  23. Because Beckham is cancer in the making apparently, since you know he has a life outside football lol
  24. Ah I see the whole "This is gonna happen in the future because I read the horoscope" argument. So before you get into your whole straw man argument again about other players on the team, how does him missing OTAs make him think he's "above the team?" When they are voluntary and he's working out with HoF WRs?
  25. No I'm talking about the medi/fans. For some reason missing voluntary OTAs means Beckham is regressing as a player and tearing the Giants apart in the locker room. You know like all those other players do when they miss OTAs.
