The expectations were just too high on Hilliman.

I have a feeling he's back with the Giants next year, the Giants know no one is rushing out the door to go sign Hilliman to their roster.

Please.

We all know Hilliman is sipping a Pina Colada with Jonas Seawright and Joe Montgomery right now, slapping senoritas' asses and mocking the rest of the league.

Who was that TE?

Robinson?

Then the other one.

Travis Beckham?

Christ we've had a lot of hyped players on this team.

Barkley will be back for the Cards game right? Engram and Shepard too?

I really hope we lay the smackdown on the fucking Cards and their fucking Kingsbury bullshit! Itll be the perfect get-right game and might involve me not drinking myself into a incoherent stupor like the last couple weeks

Engram was at practice and looks likely. Shepard was limited which is good but he hasnt cleared concussion protocol.

More than likely Shepard and Barkley are out.

Engram should be back though.

Latest news is that Barkley is practicing 100% as is Engram. These 2 should be back for the Cards game. Shepard is still iffy even though he is practicing - since it is his second concussion of the season.

Id like to see Shepard sit another week or two. Head injuries are no joke and I didnt really see anything too violent to give him another one. Its a bad sign theyre easier and easier for him to get.

Agreed. Between these and head issues in college this could turn into a Jordan reed situation real quick

Its actually worrisome - we cant afford to have Shepard go the Percy Harvin route

Nothing you can really do about it though.

All these concussions headaches could of easily been from a hit he took in highschool/college that he's just feeling the effects of.

That's the scary thing about brain/head injuries, you can be checked out and fine then have serious effects years later.

A close friend of mine, his mom used to be a competitive skier (cause what else is there to do in Canada amirite?) and she took a pretty nasty fall in her mid 20s, was checked out and cleared. It wasn't until 20 years or so later she basically dropped to the floor one day having a massive seizure, doctors figure that the fall back then might have weakened an area in her brain that lead to a bleed which took all those years to finally trigger something.

Scary business that stuff, I can see why the NFL is now cautious about the whole concussion thing.

True. Its actually scary what these guys have to go through. Kind of agree with what 'Ballers' hinted at towards the end :)
