Sephiroth
Taylor Decker reports to the official that he's eligible. The official nods and replies with a hand signal indicating he's eligible. Decker catches the game-winning two point conversion. Several very late flags are thrown. The officials huddle and announce a penalty on Decker for illegal touching. Detroit loses. The betting has really gotten out of control for the officials.
BlueInCanada
Until the NFL hires these refs full time and start paying them an actual wage where they don't need second jobs, this will continue. Get former players and young blood in. Half of these guys are over 60. They should be at home telling stories about how the world was so much better when the ethnics couldn't vote, not officiating a game.
BlueInCanada
The explanation is, Decker (they guy who caught the pass) reported but they thought it was Skipper (the extra tackle who ran in on the play) lol The refs got dementia. They really need body cams on the refs or they're always mic'd.
GorillaNJ
Shocking that refs fuck up in favor of the Cowboys
CrazedDogs
The more I'm reading about this, the shadier it gets.... but not on the refs side of things. Note that Detroit sent three players to the ref to report as eligible. Obviously, they were trying to game the system, and it backfired. Serves them right.
