This is a problem with ownership picking the wrong GM leading to the firing and hiring of the wrong head coach. This is an example of a bad ownership decisions that lead to fans abandoning teams. BlueInCanada Posted December 4, 2020 Share Posted December 4, 2020 The Lions along with some other teams just seem to be bound for a lifetime of mediocrity (usually because of the owner) and are either just going to be good enough to make the playoffs every so often and never get far, or never be good enough to crack that barrier. The Lions are part of the latter group. I have a few friends who are Lions fans and man they just sound shell shocked whenever they talk about the team and the years of disappointment.
