When's the last time we have ever had one of the skill positions have a player who retired heatedly? Or atleast somewhat healthy? Who enjoyed a full type of career with the Giants? Tiki? Toomer? Were they the last two who had fairly full careers with the Giants and didnt end up crippled? Like fuck me, why can't we ever have a play maker who can just stick with this team? Dude was an absolute burner before the injury, and had to relearn how to play running back after he lost the extra gear. I think Barkley can learn how to do it. Even if he doesn't lose a gear, and they usually don't these days when it's an ACL, he will benefit from learning to pick and choose his moments carefully. Average length of a player's career in the NFL is a little over three years. Not many teams have players who have ten plus year careers with one team.
