So... there was one bright spot last night and that is #91... seems the guy was playing like he was possessed... I saw JPP getting double teamed a couple of times but he was a no show last night... But Ayers... makes me wonder, if he's better than Kiwi... and clearly he is... why was he warming the bench all season?

He hasn't been "warming the bench" at all. It's looked to me like he's played about the same number of snaps as Kiwi for weeks now.

He's a hell of a lot better than all those crappy OL signings, that's for sure.

He obviously had a good matchup and made the most of it. Helps that Fewell was blitzing nearly every play, which makes it all the more disappoining that JPP and Kiwi did fuck all.

Notice too, Ayers got a lot of his QB pressures & hits from the tackle spot, not end. Reminded me of 2007 Tuck, who played DT and used his quickness to get into the backfield.

Every time I looked at JPP, he had two big bodies blocking him. TE and Tackle, all night long. The sacks aren't coming, but he gets lots of respect in the opposition's game plan.
