Bad, bad vibes from this story. Hope it is the worst April Fools joke ever:

Giants executives in close talks with Donald Trump about new ownership

Donald trump, the biggest real estate mogul in New York, has his eyes set on a new acquisition target the New York Giants. Sources close to the Trump Organization have leaked reports of talks between Trump and current Giants co-owners John Mara and Steve Tisch. With expanded revenue for NFL teams and organizations, it only makes sense that a businessman like Trump would want to get involved in what is rapidly becoming one of the biggest businesses in the world.

Trump, once called the "Zeus of the Earth" because he seemed to control all the real estate that he wished, was reported to be seen weekly in the Giants front office pitching himself to general manager Jerry Reese. These reports were first leaked by insiders Rick Tomlinson and Michael Astley. Apparently the zealous Trump succeeded in getting the meeting with Mara and Tisch, as they are reportedly in deep talks.

Rick Tomlinson recently tweeted: "@realDonaldTrump Any confirmations on recent talks with NY Giants about possible new ownership?" The next day, Trump sub-tweeted this, quoting a sports player to make it even more obvious: "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." -- Wayne Gretzky

If Mr. Trump were to take over the business side of the organization, it would immediately become one of the greatest purchases of a sports organization ever. I'd suggest clicking on the actual article link, and then clicking on the "you can find the full report here", for more insight.

Yeah, but uh... fact-checking isn't exactly Bleedin's strong suit. The guy falls for these things every time.
