Allstarjim Posted June 6, 2009 Share Posted June 6, 2009 With the way he's been pitching I'm glad he's getting it taken care of and the guys that are getting outs will be pitching in his stead. Means a bigger role for Parnell which I don't think hurts us, and now Sean Green and Stokes need to show they can fill the void left by Parnell moving up the pecking order. Batting average aside, David Wright needs to step it up and be the run producer he's supposed to be in this lineup. They also need somebody else to be big for them in the next 2 months, whether it be F-Mart, Murphy, Church, Cora, Tatis, or a combination of players, they need some guys to get hot for awhile.
