Lughead Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 Ok guy's we touch on Money Problems or Ideas once in a while and the threads usually sink into oblivion soon after . I feel that Money (not the member) is far to important for us not to have it's in it's own section . we can help each out with retirement idea's and vehicles as well as investing ,insurance,saving for kids collage Etc. My personal Favorite would be the stock market.... Also there are some of us here that have our own business's or run side jobs and we could network ideas off of each other . Also if we get talking about Money Matters (with the above mentioned ideas) we could draw in new members who are search for some of the same stuff we are talking about . we may even get a guru or two to join, who knows. I just recently got into the stock market (at the wrong time, just before the Dow dropped about 2000 points, LOL. But I am very interested in increasing my financial IQ and talking with friends about it. So please note this as an enthusiastic supporter of this idea. There are only going to be 2 or 3 good posters on this topic and even fewer questions. Really your best bet is to find and blog you like and join it's forum. Well if we have it here like I said we may draw in new members who search for the same things we talk about, plus a lot of people here are comfortable with each other and know each others persona's . Look how Dayne helped Nas???? and Nas didn't have to go far (IE...searching for forums or sites that offered answers that we had right here within our own members. That is the one area where I can use some sound advice. At age 44 with two failed longterm relationships along with 2 growing girls; money (or lack thereof ) is of keen interest.
