gmenroc
Unless Coughlin was fired, I don't think there was a chance Tiki was coming back. Even then, it was only a chance.

I think deep down inside Tiki hate TC, even though TC helped boost Tiki's career.
RaginCaucasian
I agree. I think deep down inside Tiki hate TC, even though TC helped boost Tiki's career. The way I look at it is that it's the same way with many people's bosses, you hate their guts sometimes because they ride your ass so much to get shit done but if you step back and look at it that's because they want you to perform at your best. Although I have to admit I do think that sometimes my boss & Coughlin both would benefit from dialing the attitude back a little, sometimes just showing your employees/players that you are a human being does go a long way. Despite that I have to belive that Tiki is done for good, not just because he wants to be able to function as a human being later in life or hates Coughlin but those are good reasons, I personally think think that he just sees how much better life is outside the game .... he can devote time to his kids and family as well as his TV career. Not only that, just think of how much of a distraction his announcement was for this team...... after that announcement they won 1 game. Would anyone else like that revisited again? IF he came back it would only be for one year and everyone would know it from the start . but for him to come back he would have to buy out of his tv contract I believe . but then again doesn't he have to buy out of his Giants contract r before he goes to tv?
