  1. Mims, Perry, Mingo, and for my money, I like Boutte out of LSU...but that might link him to OBJ unfairly
  2. So we still need to address WR and IOL in this draft....maybe S as well. I like Voorhees at that 160 spot we gave up. I think as long as we end up with 1 of the C or G, we should be okay. Like the secondary, I think offensive line is a group that needs a pick devoted to it each year. I don't see Hyatt dropping to us. That's a long way. And curious what's going on with Levis. Nobody had him falling to 2nd rd.
  3. Or IOL...still a couple names out there
  4. Can't believe the phone wasn't ringing with someone wanting Levis... Banks seems to have all the athletic ability and size. Love physicality, but that worries me in the penalty riddled NFL. Hope that isn't an issue. Love the positional selection. Like feeding the secondary with young talent. Probably would've leaned toward Branch myself there, but won't complain at all.
  5. This...especially in a league that seems flooded with the shorter fast (slot) type WR
  6. Oh...he is def an improvement to what they had and probably gives them another 3 wins...think they had 7 or 8 last year...so not a bad signing...but there is additional risk cause Rodgers is just strange and unpredictable...not something I would be overly interested in investing that heavily in. Maybe Jets sneak in a clause to hedge against some of that somehow, but kinda doubt it.
  7. Rodgers is just fucking weird. Like he wants to be a hermit/hippy but loves the attention too much. He's got 2-3 years tops. I think the Jets could still struggle to win division and are still likely 3rd in AFC at best behind Buffalo and KC. And that cat in KC ain't goin no where, sooo good luck to you Jets for giving up the picks. Not a bad deal at all for Green Bay. If Love aint the guy, they'll be able to move on pretty easily.
  8. I think the DT rotation got thin last year. I read "up to 8mil"...so that might include incentives he may not hit. Too lazy to search the details. Good signing and seems like Giants made offer, Robinson shopped it, came back to Giants after finding teams weren't gonna do much better. Like that Schoen stuck to his guns and didn't overpay
  9. Can't complain about ends being tight AND deep.
  10. Don't think a 1-yr deal affects draft much
  11. Classic realy one was Dick Trickle the Nascar driver
  12. I would definitely think we come away with a S and a CB. Valentine, Trice are a couple mid round CBs I like. There are 2 safeties as well...Skinner who we'd likely need to use our 2nd pick on and...somebody Smith II (the 2nd or 3rd)...Chris maybe? Either way, there are certainly some secondary players to find throughout. Don't see a TE at all until maybe the 7th because they can be versatile enough for special teams.
  13. I don't think Porter gets past Washington or Pittsburgh.
  14. Texas connection. Elliot gone. Pollard on tag.
  15. Watching Philly get Flowers would suck. I like Flowers as a 2nd/3rd WR slot guy who will do well with Eagles given their team...but too redundant for a 1st rounder for us. Tempted by Simpson, but LB in the 1st for the Giants...I am too realistic to have made that pick. There are IOL in the 2nd and 3rd who could start for us...I think it crucial to keep that flow of talent coming.
  16. Of course, this is with no trades. If it falls this way, Philly could charge a king's ransom for #10 to anyone trying to jump Tennessee for Levis. For record, I don't want another under 6' WR like Downs or Flowers. Further, I would love to trade down in this scenario and still grab IOL.
  17. 1. Carolina: CJ Stroud, QB, Ohio St. 2. Houston: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida 3. Arizona: Will Anderson, EDGE, Alabama 4. Indianapolis: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama 5. Seattle: Tyree Wilson, EDGE, Texas Tech 6. Detroit: Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia 7. Las Vegas: Paris Johnson, OT, Ohio St. 8. Atlanta: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR 9. Chicago: Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon 10. Philadelphia: Miles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson 11. Tennessee: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky 12. Houston: Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia 13. NY Jets: Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern 14. New England: Brian Branch, S, Alabama 15. Green Bay: Jordan Addison, WR, USC 16. Washington: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois 17. Pittsburgh: Joey Porter, CB, Penn State 18. Detroit: Lukas Van Ness, EDGE, Iowa 19. Tampa Bay: Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia 20. Seattle: Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU 21. LA Chargers: Isaiah Foskey, EDGE, Notre Dame 22. Baltimore: Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina 23. Minnesota: Deonte Banks, CB, Maryland 24. Jacksonville: Bryan Bresee, DT, Clemson 25. 18. So Hurts signs with Eagles...at 51m per. 5 years, 255m....something like 180m guaranteed. Lol..he ain't that good.
  19. I've seen him about equal with Wypler and they're 2-3 behind 1, John Michael Jingleheimer Schmit. 89 might not be a stretch for the 3rd ranked C.
  20. I think 16 is a bit rich, but the goodwill created might be worth it for the rest of the team. Would rather pay Dex.
  21. Would love Porter in the 1st but don't see that happening. Highly doubt he goes below 20 and I don't want to trade up for anyone this year. Tippman is a guy I have an eye on too. Love the idea of IOL in 1st 3 rds. Byron Young is a guy that site has ranked low but I think that might be wrong. If he is there, absolutely take him. Late round RB I like is the cat out of Minnesota...Ibrahim. All that said, like your postion choices except I think S and backup QB should be sprinkled in.
  22. So it's 12 mil next year if tagged a 2nd time...which would likely cause a holdout and peeve off the rest of the team. The impact of these negotiations on other players attitudes is a bigger concern to me than actually having Barkley back
  23. A player that receives a franchise tag for the second time sees their salary automatically increase by 20%. If the player receives the tag for a third time, their salary jumps by 44% from the previous year
