That is the question that it raises to me... The number one pick gets $41 million over 4 years. Lets say he takes $10m in team stock in 2024 and the value goes down over the next 3 years, did the team violate the collective bargaining? Would they have to make up the difference in the value come season 4 so it ends up making $41... or visa versa? If the stock goes up does the team pay him less in year 4? I assume that lawyers and accountants can get it all worked out somehow. Odell was a one year contract and I assume over the veteran minimum, so it has less complications.

I hate to agree with you... but if we are drafting top 3 and Caleb Williams is sitting there the Giants have to take him. Not to say I am an expert at all about college players, but even last year they were talking about how strong this QB class is going to be, but Williams is supposed to be really special. Can't pass that sort of thing up, but if he is not there for the Giants and a can't miss OT is there I would not be upset taking him. I would hate to see the Giants replace Jones with another Average talent QB

Truth... he should keep his mouth shut and work on his game. This is probably the first time in his life that he was not a star if not THE star player on a winning team, he came from Alabama and high school at IMG academy. If I had to guess he has more losses as a Giant than he has had if you add up every football loss since he played Pop Warner. For the team sake we need for him to figure the fuck out how to actually block NFL players
